Asuka, whose real name is Kanako Urai, is a Japanese professional wrestler who has achieved international acclaim and success in the world of sports entertainment. Born on September 26, 1981, in Osaka, Japan, Asuka is celebrated for her incredible in-ring skills, unique persona, and vibrant personality.
Asuka’s wrestling career began in Japan, where she competed in promotions such as Pro Wrestling Wave and Stardom before making her way to the United States. She signed with WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) in 2015 and quickly made her presence felt in the NXT brand.
During her time in WWE NXT, Asuka embarked on an unprecedented winning streak, becoming the NXT Women’s Champion and holding the title for an astounding 523 days. Her dominance and mystique made her one of the most captivating Superstars in the company.
