Sting Got ‘Bragging Rights’ After Great Muta’s AEW Rampage Grand Slam Appearance

Sting Got 'Bragging Rights' After Great Muta's AEW Rampage Grand Slam Appearance

Sting is an active AEW wrestler. At 63 years of age, he is performing well and in mind-blowing condition. Fans witnessed the change in his approach and his athleticism when he fought The House of Black alongside his tag team partner Darby Allin at Grand Slam, and it also gave way for an unexpected reunion.

During the match, there came a moment when Buddy Matthews had Sting’s signature baseball bat in hand. Sting was handcuffed in the ring, and it looked like Matthews had the match in the palm of his hand.

The lights went out at that very moment and The Great Muta arrived in AEW. He has been friend and foe to Sting in over 70 matches. Their last match took place in 2004 when they teamed up to defeat Diamond Dallas Page and Satoshi Kojima at “HCW Battle Hawaii.”

Sting will be by Muta in his final match, but what we didn’t tell you is how Sting felt after meeting his old friend and nemesis (based on the storylines) after so many years.

To have him [Muta] here at “Grand Slam” in America, one last time, [the] bottom line is: I have bragging rights. It’s always showtime when this guy is around.

Sting is performing well and this crossover of Muta signals if he may be interested in an AEW run after his last match takes place. It will be the revival of some WCW classics in All Elite Wrestling.

What do you think of this situation? Sound off in the comments.
