Steve Blackman was known as “The Lethal Weapon” during his memorable run with WWE. Blackman was presented as a martial arts expert who could pick opponents apart with his intense fighting style. After Steve left WWE in 2002, he hasn’t made too many public appearances.

The Hardys have been touring the independent and convention circuit after reuniting in AEW. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy recently met up with another former WWE coworker in Gangrel. Their latest stop saw them get a rare photo op with Steve Blackman.

Matt Hardy was thrilled about the elusive opportunity. In a social media post, he shared a photo of himself, Jeff Hardy, and Steve Blackman. Matt said it’s rare to see Blackman in the wild these days.

“Myself & Jeff were so happy to run into Steve Blackman today. A legit cool & badass dude who rarely does public appearances nowadays.

As the charismatic @JCLayfield would say, it was OUTSTANDING!”

Steve Blackman and The Hardys met up at the MCW Spring Fever event in Millersville, Maryland. It was one of only a handful of wrestling appearances The Lethal Weapon has made since retiring from the ring. Matt Hardy was eating it up.

The Hardys have been meeting up with a lot of nostalgic friends and foes as they continue to travel the country working independent dates. The team is gearing up for a potential matchup with The Young Bucks at AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view. For The Hardys, the latest run has been all about merging their incredible past with pro wrestling’s present.
