Later on RAW, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins won the Tag Team Titles and then Ambrose turned heel on Rollins, attacking him at the end of the show. Some fans were critical of using WWE Reigns’ announcement to heighten emotions and then using that to turn Ambrose heel on a very emotional evening. People were even crying in the crowd after this heel turn.

Lawler thinks this heel turn was in the works for months, even while Ambrose was out with injury. When Ambrose returned from injury he looked very different, and didn’t look like part of The Shield anymore. Lawler thought this heel turn was executed well.
Moore asks Lawler who he thinks will fill Reigns’ shoes moving forward as the top guy in WWE. Lawler thinks WWE is still scratching their heads right now trying to figure that out. For a long period of time WWE has had a huge babyface star as their top guy, such as Hogan, Austin, The Rock, and Cena, but they don’t really have anyone like that right now.
