Pro: AJ Styles v. Brock Lesnar

Both AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar are undeniable super athletes. They’re nigh untouchable. They are two of the best wrestlers in the WWE right now and they’ve never faced each other. Think about that for a moment.

While many would be pessimistic about such a big money match-up, Brock is capable of having good matches when he likes his opponent. Think Samoa Joe. Think Goldberg. Sure, Orton and Ambrose have failed to have good matches with Brock “Beast ‘Conqueror’ Incarnate” Lesnar, Styles seems like the kind of guy Brock would have a good match with.

I think the most effective way to book the match would be to book it like Punk v. Lesnar. Yes, Punk was smaller, but he was faster and more cunning than Lesnar. He used the weapons as an equalizer. While the Survivor Series match may just be a normal singles match, it should at least be competitive. No Suplex City. Or at least keep it to a minimum (Suplex Village? Suplex Town? Suplex Shack in the Middle of Nowhere?)

Brock and AJ are two of the most talented performers in the WWE today. This is a true dream match. Hopefully they can pull the best out of each other at Survivor Series. Brock’s had a pretty good 2017 (minus the Strowman match). Styles’s 2017 hasn’t been too shabby either. He’s just had three dream matches in the span of a month (Balor, Singh, Singh). Let’s add a fourth one to that list.
