He could say he’s arranging a Fatal Four Way for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, and then it turns out to be him against three jobbers from whatever city they’re in. Baron Corbin wins and is now the number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship.
Heck, you could even skip the “beating jobbers” part and just have straight up declare that he is next in line for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. But why stop at the Intercontinental Championship? Assuming someone takes the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar soon, then Corbin could challenge for that title.
Imagine a scenario where someone like Kevin Owens asks for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Corbin agrees.on one condition: should Owens win, Corbin gets the first shot. Owens wins the title, only for Corbin to come down, beat him up, and then challenge him right there and then.
There are so many different scenarios where Baron Corbin could be a total jackass to everyone around him in order to advance his career. He could mess with anyone and everyone around him.
