The Drifter sang a song about how Seth had to cheat at MITB because Elias can’t be beaten but he got what was coming to him. Then Elias sang that there’s no one in the world like him. He said he’s ready to slay the beast and then he insulted the Grand Rapids crowd. He was calling out Brock Lesnar too. When times get tough ask yourself What Would Elias Do?
Backstage Interview
Renee Young interviewed Seth Rollins who said it stings a little bit to lose the IC Title. He wasn’t making excuses because Dolph beat him. He said Drew McIntyre is a problem but he has one week to solve it because he’s getting his rematch and title back next week.
Finn Balor & Braun Strowman vs Kevin Owens & Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin wrestled in dress pants, button up shirt, and vest. The heels took control from the beginning and tagged in and out to beat up Balor.
When Braun Strowman got the tag, Baron took off his vest but left his button up shirt on. Corbin clotheslined Braun off the distraction from Kevin Owens and he beat him down in the corner for a moment before Braun came back and tossed him over the top rope.
Balor got the tag and then Braun picked him up and threw Finn on top of Owens and Corbin.
Baron and Finn squared off in the ring and Balor nailed a dropkick that sent Baron into his corner so Kevin got the blind tag and took advantage after that. Balor took a bump off the barricade and then Kevin his a senton for a two count.
Owens kept the pressure on Finn for a bit until Baron got the tag and then he tossed Balor out of the ring where he gave Balor another bump on the barricade.
Balor tried for a springboard but Baron knocked him out of the air with a right hand. Then Corbin hit a Deep 6 for the two count. Kevin got the tag and missed the senton.
Corbin got the tag and kept Finn from tagging Braun. He stomped Balor down in the corner and then tagged Owens back in to do the same. Braun ran in the ring and dragged Balor over to the corner and got the tag.
Then Braun started laying into Baron Corbin. Owens couldn’t get in the match so Strowman chased him around the ring. Baron Corbin nailed Strowman with a dive off the apron and took advantage after that for a moment. Then Braun charged at Baron but took a shoulder to the post.
Finn tagged himself back in and took the fight to Baron Corbin. He hit Baron with a double stomp to the chest and then Braun went running and tackled Owens through the timekeeper’s area.
Corbin tried to hit the chokeslam neckbreaker but Balor countered with a DDT. Finn hit the shotgun dropkick and then climbed up for the Coup De Gras but Corbin knocked him down and hit the End Of Days for the win.
