After one of the best NXT matches in recent memory, Adam Cole was unable to overcome Finn Balor as the Irishman won the NXT Championship at Super Tuesday II. Click here for our full results.

Ever since his feud against Pat McAfee, Cole has slowly but surely been in the midst of a babyface turn – or, at least, that’s how it seems.

After the defeat to Balor, Cole wasn’t afraid to show his respect to the man who prevented him from reclaiming the belt.

No excuses. No BS. Balor was the better man tonight… See you soon Champ. #Round2 #AdamColeBayBay #UndisputedERA

Some fans have suggested that now is the time for The Undisputed Era to make their way over to RAW or SmackDown, and they could well be right about that.

Still, they’ve been such an institution in NXT for so long now, and it’d feel somewhat odd to see them transition over to a different brand.
