The main event of WrestleMania Saturday turned out to be one of the biggest nightmares for Cody Rhodes. The latter and Seth Rollins failed to defeat The Rock and Roman Reigns in the biggest tag team match in the history of WrestleMania. Following this, Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of Night Two in a Bloodline Rules match. 

Following his victory, Roman Reigns walked out into the WrestleMania Saturday Press Conference with a lot going through his mind ahead of his title defence on Sunday. When asked for questions from the media, Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns didn’t like the response . 

The Tribal Chief asked everyone to acknowledge him when a girl booed her. Roman Reigns immediately asked the expert to walk out of the conference else he would leave. While this hasn’t happened in a WWE press conference before, Roman Reigns maintained his character and kicked the girl out. 

Roman Reigns and The Rock have been two of the biggest attractions for fans throughout the WrestleMania season and are expected to be together during the main event of WrestleMania Sunday as well.

What Happened After WrestleMania 40 Saturday Went Off-Air

WrestleMania 40 Saturday lived up to the hype of being the biggest Mania of all-time with a sold out Lincoln Financial Field set to witness immense action throughout. While the show was incredible throughout, the main event featured the biggest tag team match in the history of WrestleMania with The Rock making his in-ring return for the first time in more than 8 years. 

Though the WWE Universe didn’t see something they wanted to, millions around the world enjoyed the action unfold throughout the tag team match. The Rock pinned Cody Rhodes in the ending moments of the match with the stipulation for the main event of Night Two becoming official. 

After the show went off-air, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins were left disappointed following the tough loss. Rollins and Rhodes got together and made a long walk backstage after losing one of the biggest matches of their respective careers. 

Following the loss, Cody Rhodes will now challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship on WrestleMania 40 Sunday in a Bloodline Rules match. On the other hand, a bruised Seth Rollins will walk into WrestleMania Sunday for a match against Drew McIntyre with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

As WrestleMania Saturday gets underway live from the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, anticipation is high for a star-studded show that promises new beginnings and opportunities to make history.

WrestleMania 40 not only marks the rise of several stars on their journey to glory but also signifies the commencement of WWE’s partnership with Prime. Prime becomes the first-ever ring mat sponsor of WWE, with their logo prominently displayed in the center of the ring at every Premium Live Event, starting with tonight’s Grandest Stage of them All.

Ringside News has obtained a first look photo of the new WWE ring design at the Lincoln Financial Field. In the center of the ring, a modestly sized Prime bottle is featured. While its colorless appearance may not immediately catch the eye, some members of the WWE Universe have expressed concerns following the announcement.

Official images of the updated ring mat will be unveiled as the fireworks kick off for WrestleMania 40.
