MJF Makes Huge Promise For Full Gear During AEW Dynamite This Week

MJF wants to beat Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear, but he doesn’t want to win in controversial fashion. Tonight, The Devil Himself made a huge promise for his big match in November.

Click here for our full coverage of AEW Dynamite.

MJF appeared on Dynamite tonight for an interview promo with Renee Paquette. The 2022 Casino Ladder match winner promised not to use one of his most prized possession against Jon Moxley at Full Gear.

“You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to make a promise for one night and one night only. At Full Gear when I go for the grandest prize of them all, I promise that I will not use my Dynamite Diamond Ring, because I don’t need it. The only thing I’ve never needed to be a success in my life is a grudge, and trust me, I’m chock-full of them.”

MJF fired The Firm for their attack on Mox but ended up getting completely destroyed by the group during the show’s main event. The number one contender got up on his feet and walked to the back on his own after Dynamite went off the air.

MJF ordered The Firm to stop their assault on Jon Moxley following his successful title defense against Penta during the main event of Dynamite tonight. Stokely Hathaway responded by having the group completely destroy the number one contender to the AEW World Champion.

W. Morrissey planted MJF with a chokeslam through a table to close out Dynamite tonight. According to PW Insider, MJF recovered from the attack and went to the back all by himself after the show went off the air. The poker chip winner got a standing ovation from the crowd as well.

After Dynamite went off the air, MJF recovered from being put through the table and made his way to the back under his own power.

AEW President Tony Khan came out and introduced Hook.  He came out and held up the FTW title belt and then went to the back.

Khan thanked the fans for being a great crowd and said they were on the road to Full Gear and the Norfolk fans were a big part of that.  He thanked everyone for being here and went to the back.

Justin Roberts asked everyone to please get home safely.

MJF is likely to confront The Firm for betraying him but for now The Devil Himself needs some rest to recover from the group’s vicious assault. Check out post-Dynamite fan footage below.
