MJF has been embroiled in a heated rivalry with the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay in recent weeks over the AEW International Championship. The match between Ospreay and MJF lasted nearly an hour, with MJF securing the win in the final seconds.

During the July 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF officially began his reign as champion. After a spectacular entrance, he then told Ospreay to “take a long walk off a short pier,” adding a harsh remark about Ospreay’s recently deceased grandmother.

Moreover, unwilling to hold a title previously held by many international talents, MJF unveiled a new American Championship design, throwing the International Title into the garbage. However, the fans cheered heavily for Ospreay as he interrupted his celebrations as he will challenge MJF for the American Championship at AEW All In.

Witnessing the rising support for Will Ospreay, MJF took to his X to drop a photo with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. The Salt of the Earth claimed that he had found a new ally in Angle with both teaming up to stop support for UK Invaders, taking an indirect shot towards Will Ospreay.

With tensions running high between Ospreay and MJF, we will have to see if he manages to triumph over Will once again or drop his title back to him at All-In making it a short reign for him. Moreover, it could be a massive shocker should AEW decide to bring Kurt Angle into the mix as well, marking the WWE Legend’s first appearance in Tony Khan’s company.

One half of the Briscoe Brothers, Jay Briscoe, will forever be celebrated as a legendary tag team wrestler, renowned for his remarkable in-ring abilities and dedication to entertaining fans.

Jay tragically lost his life in a car accident on January 17, 2023. According to the Delaware State Police, another driver crossed the centre line and collided head-on with Jay’s vehicle.

In an exclusive clip dropped by Ring of Honor on their Instagram, his brother Mark Briscoe introduced the world to his baby boy, Jay Briscoe, named after his late sibling. He then reflected on his successful ROH World Title defence against Roderick Strong at the recent Ring of Honor: Death Before Dishonor event and credited him for a tough battle that he gave him.

How you doing folks? Mark and baby Jay Briscoe here. We just got done with Death Before Dishonor main event and as you can see, we have emerged victorious. Now Roderick Strong, ain’t nothing chaasust nged. What they say? The more things change, the more they stay the same. Here we are 20, 20 some odd years in and you just tough as ever. You just as nice as ever, boy, you can go, still, hey, but all i am saying buddy, good fight, but you are looking at a champ.”

With Strong out of the way, we will have to wait and see how Mark Briscoe’s reign as ROH World Champion continues. But with the world getting to meet his baby boy named after his late brother, the fans would surely feel the presence of Jay Briscoe still alive among them.

On the July 22nd episode of Monday Night RAW, after learning about Dominik’s backstage encounter with Morgan, Rhea Ripley brought him to the ring. Rhea called out Liv, who remained in the audience and refused to enter the ring.
