Booker T’s Provides Recovery Update Post-Medical Procedure

Booker T's Provides Recovery Update Post-Medical Procedure

Booker T has rightfully made his place among the most talented and skilled in-ring performers of all time. The 5-time WCW champion has been absent from his role of NXT commentator due to a recent medical procedure he underwent. Recently, the veteran wrestler gave an update about his return to the wrestling scene.

During the latest episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T shared that his recovery is going well and he is very excited to return to commentary. Booker shared he has healed up pretty quickly and he feels around 98%. He added that he’s presently pain-free.

“I’m probably about 98% and good to go. I definitely can’t wait to get back in the saddle. My procedure went very well. I healed up pretty quickly. I’m not in any pain or anything right now. I’m looking forward to getting back to work. I hate being idle and sitting at home.”

In case you need a refresher, Booker T announced earlier this month that he would not be present to call the action on Vengeance Day. At the time, he shared that would be taking an extended leave of absence from the Black and Gold brand. However, he did not reveal the nature of his medical procedure as he wanted to keep things private.

Meanwhile, fans are certainly missing Booker T at the commentor’s table, where he adds his own flare and skill to the program. It remains to be seen how long his absence from the ring will continue.

WrestleMania Plans of Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch Under Threat from Nia Jax

WrestleMania season has begun, and anticipation for the 40th edition of the Showcase of Immortals is mounting. With several matchups finalized, excitement for the Grandest Stage of Them All has reached new heights. Now it appears, Nia Jax is looking to make her mark at the event.

Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch will participate in the next Elimination Chamber event, with their sights set on WrestleMania 40. Lynch faces the challenge of winning the Elimination Chamber match for the first time inside the elimination chamber structure. For Ripley, she must defeat Nia Jax in a singles match to defend her WWE Women’s World Title.

While speaking to Love Wrestling, Jax was questioned about potentially taking on Lynch at WrestleMania if the two women walk out of the PLE with a win. She said that she’s determined to assert her dominance in the ring and intends to beat the “crap” out of Rhea, forcing Lynch to confront her instead.

Well, here’s the thing. Everybody’s scared of me. Everybody’s coming for me because I have been dominating and nobody can take me out by themselves. That’s why Rhea’s going to have such a hard time. I feel like they’re all trying to gang up and put out there it’s going to be Becky. When in reality, I’m going to go win this and beat the crap out of Rhea and then Becky’s going to have to face me.”

Meanwhile, Lynch has been vocal about her desire to headline the WrestleMania night one. It remains to be seen if the Lynch Vs Jax bout is brought to reality and Jax manages to win the title off Ripley. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more!
