Big E’s journey to the top of WWE has been one full of hurdles and obstacles at every step of the way. After a solid run in NXT, Big E made his way to the main roster but was eventually lost in the shuffle. It seems Big E is glad he is the WWE Champion.
Big E is currently the WWE Champion after putting in hard work for several years. He won the title after cashing in his Money In The Bank contract on Bobby Lashley a couple of months ago.
Since then, Big E has been booked as a solid champion and now bears the responsibility of being the champion. While speaking with SunSport, Big E talked about his reign as the WWE Champion. Big E stated that it has been a godsend for him.
“I think maybe if I had won the title a few years ago it maybe would have worn on me more mentally, but I’m someone who in every interview at some point I’m talking about meditation. That has been a godsend for me and I think that I’ve really learned to do a better job of being in the moment and present.”
We will have to wait and see how Big E will fare in his match against Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens at WWE Day 1 on January 1st, 2022.
