Bron Breakker made his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble and has since been booked as an unstoppable force. Now the Intercontinental Champion, he has extended a title shot to an injured WWE star.

Breakker, who won his first main roster title at SummerSlam by defeating Sami Zayn, appeared on a Fanatics Live auction and reiterated his desire to defend his title against John Cena.

When asked about his favorite match from his NXT Championship run, Breakker mentioned his title unification match against Tyler Bate. He expressed that despite being new to the scene, he felt they had a great match. Breakker wished Bate a speedy recovery and offered him a shot at the Intercontinental Championship upon his return.

“I feel like Tyler Bate and I [had a good match]. That was super early on too. I was still super brand new. He’s a little banged up right now, so I wish he comes back soon.

And you know what, whenever you get back my man, you want to challenge me for the Intercontinental Championship, then I’ll lay it down for you. Because we had a good one.”

Bron Breakker previously faced Tyler Bate in a title unification match at the NXT Worlds Collide event in September 2022. Tyler Bate has been out of action for a month now and he is not expected to return until 2025. Therefore, we will have to wait and see when Bate and Breakker will have their rematch upon his return.
