Seth Rollins recently threw a wild challenge into the universe—suggesting he’d be open to fighting CM Punk in an MMA bout if UFC’s Dana White was willing to book it. And now, CM Punk has answered—and he’s not holding back.

While speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, The Second City Saint made it clear that he’s more than ready to test Rollins, even if it’s not in a cage—because he plans to start the beatdown this Saturday at WrestleMania 41.

“Look, imma punch this motherf**ker in the face on Saturday,” Punk said. “He’s talking about wanting to do an MMA fight. Well, alright, I’ll see you Saturday, kid.”

Punk’s response comes after Rollins told Outta Pocket with RGIII that he’d be willing to step into the octagon with Punk—saying it would be his first and only MMA fight, and joking that Dana White could cash in on the crossover. Rollins admitted he wouldn’t fight just anybody in his weight class, but for Punk, he’d put the gloves on.

Despite Rollins’ MMA inexperience, Punk doesn’t seem worried—nor does he care that his own UFC record isn’t much to brag about. In fact, he loves being doubted. And when it comes to their showdown at WrestleMania 41, Punk made it crystal clear that Rollins is in for a world of pain.

With WWE and UFC now under the same corporate umbrella, the idea of a Punk vs. Rollins fight outside the ring might not be that far-fetched. But first, they’ll meet in the ring in a triple threat match that also includes Roman Reigns.
