WWE recently announced a major World Championship match for their upcoming Madison Square Garden show. However, the recent announcement has left RAW superstar Drew McIntyre visibly unsettled.

At the WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque revealed that The Scottish Warrior would face Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Title at WWE Clash at the Castle on June 15 in his hometown of Glasgow, Scotland.

Despite the anticipation for his World Title shot, McIntyre was surprised and upset by a subsequent announcement. The global juggernaut revealed that Priest would defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso at a special show in Madison Square Garden on June 28, just days after Clash at the Castle. In response to this announcement, McIntyre expressed his frustration and surprised reaction on social media.

“The F**k.”

Drew McIntyre’s reaction likely stems from his belief that he will defeat Priest in Scotland, after roasting his promo skills on RAW recently and thus should be the one defending the title against Jey Uso. Moreover, his frustration is possibly directed at WWE management for promoting Priest as the champion before their match has even occurred.

Nevertheless, the former 3-time WWE Champion remains determined to secure a victory in front of his hometown crowd, aiming to add another significant moment to his career.
