CM Punk may have earned his shot at GUNTHER at SummerSlam, but not everyone is impressed—especially Drew McIntyre.

Just a day after Punk won a gauntlet match on RAW to become the number-one contender for the Intercontinental Championship, McIntyre took to Twitter and made his feelings loud and clear. The Scottish Warrior posted a video of two porcelain toilets swinging on ropes before smashing into each other mid-air, captioned: “GUNTHER vs Punk”

The message was clear: McIntyre doesn’t think this match is going to be a classic.

This post came after Punk defeated Bron Breakker in the final stage of a star-studded gauntlet match on the July 14 episode of RAW, earning himself a shot at GUNTHER’s title at SummerSlam. The match also included Jey Uso, LA Knight, and Penta, with interference from Bronson Reed nearly costing Punk the win. But with an elbow drop and the GTS followed by an Anaconda Vice, Punk sealed the deal and locked in his SummerSlam spot.

Now, all eyes are on August 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium where CM Punk will challenge GUNTHER in what could be one of the biggest matches of the summer. But if you ask McIntyre, it might just end up being a bathroom break.

Drew’s post speaks volumes—and fans are already debating whether it was a dig at Punk, GUNTHER, or both.
