WWE had the perfect opportunity to induct Eric Bischoff into their Hall of Fame with the nWo. They did not do that, and their four-perfect faction of inductees did not include Easy E. He honestly doesn’t believe he will ever receive such an induction.
While speaking to Riju Dasgupta, Eric Bischoff was asked about a future induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. He doesn’t think it will come to pass for a variety of reasons.
It’s funny. It’s almost like clockwork. I start getting those questions every year by around January. I don’t think about it. Honestly, I don’t. The only time the thought forms in my mind is when I have to answer a question like this. First of all, to be honest, I don’t think it’s going to happen for a variety of reasons.
When it comes to who might induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame, if that day comes, he replied, “Secondly, I don’t know. I haven’t given it any thought. Maybe Hulk Hogan. Who knows?”
Eric Bischoff might not be giving it much thought because it’s such a longshot. We’ll have to see what happens in the years to come. WWE could always add him to the nWo’s induction since they will get a do-over this year since 2020’s ceremony was cancelled.
