Jim Ross isn’t holding back when it comes to how Mick Foley looked during The Real Hulk Hogan documentary on FOX—and he made it personal.

Foley appeared in the special to reflect on the life and career of Hulk Hogan, who passed away on July 24th. But it wasn’t Foley’s words that caught JR’s attention—it was his face.

Speaking on the Grilling JR podcast, Ross shared his blunt reaction after watching the tribute:

“Mick Foley was part of it. Mick looked rough. I don’t know why he didn’t do something with his teeth. Somebody can say, ‘That’s his gimmick.’ Bullshit. Go to the dentist.”

Ross made it clear that his criticism didn’t come from a place of disrespect—but he couldn’t help noticing how distracted he was by Foley’s appearance.

“I love Mick, but God dang. He was fully in character as Mankind, it seemed to me, like. Missing teeth. Looking tired. He didn’t look heavy, but he was missing some teeth, which distracted me.”

Foley hasn’t responded publicly. JR may love Mick Foley, but that didn’t stop him from dragging his look straight to the dental chair. Whether it was tough love or just Ross being Ross, one thing’s for sure—Foley’s missing teeth stole the spotlight from the Hulk Hogan tribute, at least in JR’s eyes.
