As previously noted, WWE announced on Monday’s episode of RAW that Jinder Mahal would be making a Survivor Series challenge on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live.
Mahal appeared on tonight’s show and challenged Brock Lesnar to a match at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series event. Immediately after the challenge, AJ Styles came out and also wanted a piece of the action.
What’s interesting about Styles’ involvement in the segment is he was originally rumored to be Mahal’s opponent for Survivor Series. Dave Meltzer reported over the weekend that Lesnar was next in line to face Mahal. It is very possible that Mahal faces Styles on an episode of SmackDown before his match against Lesnar at Survivor Series.
Survivor Series will take place on November 19, 2017 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. As always, we will have live play-by-play coverage of the event.
