Liv Morgan has come a long way since her days with the Riott Squad in WWE. She is now the WWE Women’s World Champion and is involved in a very intriguing situation with Dominik Mysterio. With Rhea Ripley’s return on RAW last week, Morgan was sent running for the hills, but her current role is perfect for her, as CJ Perry sees it.

During an interview with USA Today, CJ Perry spoke highly of Liv Morgan, stating that the WWE Women’s World Champion was perfectly cast in her current role. In addition to being champion, Morgan has also been attempting to drive a wedge between Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley.

“She’s in the perfect casting. She’s an incredible worker, she’s an incredible athlete. At the end of the day, professional wrestling is scripted television, where we want to believe what you’re doing is real, and she’s the hot girl. We love her. Those are exciting stories to tell on television. Women need to be represented, and yes, we are different than men. But we bring value. We can sell tickets. I mean, look at Liv Morgan right now. It shows you that we need everything. We need the competitors, we need the badasses, we need the love stories, and there’s a spot for everyone.”

CJ Perry has bid AEW farewell, as she was part of the April releases from the company. It’s anyone’s guess whether Triple H may find a use for her, but she is certainly happy for Liv Morgan as she watches her from home.

This is a great time to be a Liv Morgan fan, as all that waiting for her die-hard supporters has paid off. Now she is on top of RAW, but it may only be a matter of time before Rhea Ripley makes her fight for that spot.
