Logan Paul shocked fans with his incredible athleticism during his SummerSlam match against The Miz. The Maverick got a lot of praise for his dedication to professional wrestling.
After a couple of months of waiting, WWE pretty much made it clear they want The Maverick to square off against Roman Reigns for the titles. They confirmed the match during a recent press conference.
On last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Logan Paul came out to the ring to talk about his upcoming match at Crown Jewel. He was attacked by Jey Uso from behind. After some miscommunication between Zayn and Uso, Paul ended up knocking out Jey Uso.
While speaking on The Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette talked about Logan Paul headlining the blue brand last week. He gave Paul props for taking pro wrestling seriously.
“They don’t have stars that they can match on television in the main event of their flagship show… We have a main event interview with Logan Paul concerning the Crown Jewel event and Roman Reigns. Again, this guy can talk, he’s taken the business more seriously than the guys that are in it … He seems serious and motivated, and he’s got personality.”
Shawn Michaels has also been training Logan Paul ahead of his match against Roman Reigns. Obviously, the world of WWE means something to The Maverick. We’ll have to see if Paul has any chance against Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th.
