AEW Dynamite took an emotional turn during the January 15 episode as MJF escalated his feud with Jeff Jarrett by dragging Owen Hart into their war of words. During a tense promo segment, MJF didn’t hold back, accusing Jarrett of exploiting his friendship with the late Owen Hart to stay relevant.

“What really makes me mad is that just because you were best friends with Owen Hart, you think you’re owed a grand finale,” MJF declared, aiming directly at Jarrett.

The comment visibly shook Jarrett, who had remained composed despite MJF’s earlier insults. But this time, Jarrett snapped, landing a big right hand on MJF before chaos broke loose. Security and Jarrett’s crew rushed in to break up the brawl, with MJF narrowly escaping the ring after nearly clashing with Karen Jarrett.

Jarrett, known for his fiery comebacks, didn’t take MJF’s remarks lightly. Earlier in the segment, he had called MJF a leech and claimed, “I was MJF before you were MJF.” While the verbal jabs flew from both sides, it was MJF’s Owen Hart comments that struck a nerve, adding a deeply personal layer to their feud.

With emotions running high, it’s clear this rivalry is far from over. The bad blood between these two is boiling over, and fans can only imagine what’s next after such a personal exchange.
