The G1 Special USA ended last night and got a phenomenal reception from fans and critics alike. The event saw a number of shocking moments and the Cleaner, Kenny Omega became the inaugural IWGP United States Champion.
Because of the success of this 2-day Special, NJPW Chairman Mister Sugabayashi announced that the Japanese promotion will indeed return to the American soil next year.
