As previously reported, Nia Jax has been given a leave of absence from WWE for personal reasons. It’s unknown exactly what those reasons are or when she is expected back. PWInsider originally reported that her Total Diva obligations would not be affected moving forward, but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore.
In an update, Jax was scheduled to film new material for the upcoming season of Total Divas in New York City this Thursday and Friday. According to a source in the production crew, those plans were scrapped and she’s no longer doing any filming this week.
Jax remains off the road for future dates she was scheduled to work for WWE. Attempts have been made to WWE for an comment, but no word has been sent back.
