New Japan Pro-wrestling has announced that former WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio will be competing at the Dominion pay-per-view next month.
The Ultimate Underdog was previously scheduled to wrestle Jushin “Thunder” Liger at NJPW’s Strong Style Evolved earlier this year but had to be replaced by Will Ospreay after he suffered an injury.
Mysterio recently also participated in WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Mysterio’s opponent for the upcoming Dominion event is currently unknown. We’ll keep you updated on this situation.
