Saraya isn’t running from her past—in fact, she’s laughing about it now.
During a lighthearted game of Never Have I Ever with Denise Salcedo, the former AEW star came clean about one of the most infamous moments from her WWE run, admitting she lied to a boss after failing a drug test.
Rather than sidestep the question about lying to a boss, Saraya dove right in, sharing the real story behind her failed drug test from years ago.
“Yeah, I did it publicly… talking about my drugs and stuff like that, remember that? Yeah, I got fing— I got publicly outed for popping another drug test and I was like, uh… it was a dental surgery… and it wasn’t… I did cocaine, but… yeah, I fed up, I lied, but it’s okay.”
Saraya originally blamed the failed test on medication from dental surgery, but later admitted it was actually due to cocaine. True to form, she laughed off the chaotic moment, showing once again she’s not shy about her mistakes.
The former WWE Divas Champion has been outspoken about her rocky past, but her ability to own it, even in a playful setting, continues to set her apart in the wrestling world.
