While speaking with WWE, Shawn Michaels explained why he decided to wrestle at the WWE Crown Jewel event.
“Maybe it’s going to go very badly because there is no stress, there’s no anxiety. I don’t feel a lot of pressure to be the showstopper, to be Mr. WrestleMania. Maybe because it’s not at WrestleMania? One of the reasons I agreed to do it is because…it didn’t encompass all those things that I feel like a comeback or coming out of retirement sort of dictates.”
“We don’t put a thought into why we do things I guess. “
