The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) are currently in their second reign as the AEW World Trios Tag Team Champions. Next Sunday, the trio will put their titles on the line against another popular stable in AEW.
AEW announced that The Elite will defend the World Trios Tag Team Championship against the House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews) at the Revolution pay-per-view event on Sunday, March 5th.
The match was booked after The House confronted The Elite on the latest edition of AEW Rampage. Black, King and Murphy surrounded the ring after the opening match on Rampage, but did not pick up fight with the champions.
The House originally teased the feud in the aftermath of the December 3, 2022, edition of Rampage, when Brody King and Buddy Murphy sent Brandon Cutler crashing through a wooden table.
