Hulk Hogan’s last WWE television appearance before his passing came on the January 6 episode of Raw, where he was met with a wall of boos from the live crowd. Now it’s been revealed that Vince McMahon was far from happy about how fans handled the moment.

In a trailer for the upcoming TMZ Presents: The Real Hulk Hogan special, the host brought up to McMahon that Hogan had been booed during his final WWE appearance. McMahon didn’t hold back in admitting his feelings on the matter.

“I was angry. He deserved much more.”

While the cameras caught the loud boos, those in the arena also heard chants of “F*** Hulk Hogan” echoing off-camera. Hogan, however, wasn’t bothered by it, explaining that he was perfectly fine with being booed in major markets like Los Angeles.

Despite the mixed fan reaction in his last WWE moment, Hogan and McMahon shared a decades-long connection filled with ups, downs, and mutual respect. McMahon’s anger over the crowd’s treatment is just another example of the loyalty he felt toward one of WWE’s most iconic names.
