In a landmark moment for WWE, the annual draft of 2024 unfolded amidst great anticipation, marking a pivotal juncture in the company’s illustrious history. The event kicked off in grand fashion on SmackDown last week, wasting no time in revealing the draft picks according to the predetermined rules and later revealed some additional picks on social media.
One of the most notable aspects of this year’s draft was the inclusion of NXT Superstars, eliciting a positive response from the audience for Carmelo Hayes and Kiana James who got drafted. The impending changes from the draft are slated to come into effect on May 6th, following the conclusion of the WWE Backlash France PLE.
The draft proceedings continued on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW and culminated in the unveiling of entirely revamped rosters for both RAW and SmackDown giving a completely transformed look to both the main roster brands.
