During the November 7, 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair squared off against Nia Jax in a physical showdown. Things got brutal fast on the July 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, and Alexa Bliss took the worst of it. During a singles match against Roxanne Perez, Bliss ended up with a bloody nose after chaos broke out outside the ring—just weeks before her WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match at SummerSlam.

The match, held at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, was part of the ongoing feud between Bliss and Charlotte Flair against Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. But things unraveled quickly when action on the outside forced Bliss to make a split-second move.

After spotting Raquel Rodriguez about to powerbomb Charlotte Flair at ringside, Bliss launched herself off the top rope and hit a Twisted Bliss onto the floor to break it up. But when she re-entered the ring, Perez was waiting. Bliss was hit with a move and pinned quickly—and that’s when the real issue became clear.

Bliss was visibly busted open, her nose bleeding heavily. WWE’s production team cut away from the shot almost immediately, but the bleeding didn’t stop. The camera briefly returned to Bliss before focusing solely on Roxanne Perez, who celebrated in the ring after scoring the win.

WWE has not issued an official update on Bliss’ condition. For now, Bliss is still scheduled to team with Charlotte Flair to challenge Perez and Rodriguez at the premium live event—but that could change if the injury is serious.

On the July 4 episode of SmackDown, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair shocked the competition by earning their spot in the Women’s Tag Team Championship match set for Evolution on July 13.

Bliss and Flair, teaming together for the first time, took on B-Fab & Michin and Piper Niven & Alba Fyre in a three-way qualifier. Despite their inexperience as a duo, Bliss and Flair walked away with the win, securing their place in the high-stakes four-way title match at WWE Evolution.

The title picture has seen plenty of changes in recent weeks. After Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury that forced her off the show, WWE scrapped her storyline with Nikki Bella and reshuffled plans for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Morgan’s injury also meant Raquel Rodriguez needed a new partner—and Roxanne Perez was chosen to fill that spot.

Rodriguez and Perez will defend the titles at Evolution in a four-way match featuring one team from Raw, one from SmackDown, and one from NXT. Bliss and Flair now represent the blue brand, with the remaining two teams yet to be announced.

With a newly-formed alliance between two of WWE’s biggest names, the Women’s Tag Team division just got a whole lot more unpredictable.
