Chelsea Green Regains WWE Women's United States Title During 11/7 SmackDown

WWE has a lot of titles going around the company, although come promotions can brag that they have more. The Women’s United States Title got the spotlight this week on SmackDown, and we saw a title change.

WWE SmackDown’s November 7 episode went down at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. This was a big night for Chelsea Green.

Giulia has been United States Champion for a while, but that ended this week. Now, Chelsea Green is riding high once again.

Ethan Page and Chelsea Green were already the AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions. Page is also the NXT North American Champion, and he was on hand to support Chelsea Green in her Women’s United States Title match this week.

After a fairly short match, Chelsea Green was able to secure the win and pull down the WWE Women’s United States Championship. Now, the first-ever woman to hold that title is carrying it once again.

After the match, Ethan Page and Chelsea Green went into the crowd, with Alba Fyre, and they celebrated. This was certainly a big moment for Green, and an unexpected one for Giulia and Kiana James.

What’s your take on this title change on SmackDown? Do you think that the WWE United States Championship belongs with Chelsea Green? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

John Cena needs a final opponent, and WWE is going to decide this with a tournament. This week on SmackDown, we heard about matches going down next week on SmackDown in that tournament setting.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that The Miz vs Jey Uso will go on next week. Then he pulled out two more balls from his lottery machine.

LA Knight’s name was called, but then Aldis stopped short. He said that LA Knight’s opponent will be a surprise. We will have to see what happens next week.

Anything can happen in WWE, and there are a lot of people who want to face John Cena. At this rate, we’re not ruling any Superstar out, no matter where they currently work for.

Jade Cargill Shares Tense Moment After Blunt Promo During 11/7 WWE SmackDown

Jade Cargill Shares Tense Moment After Blunt Promo During 11/7 WWE SmackDown

WWE SmackDown’s November 7 episode went down at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. This included a lot of fallout from Saturday’s special show.

Jade Cargill beat Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The Storm came to SmackDown this week, and her appearance was hyped as a featured part of the show.

Jade Cargill knows a thing or two about holding titles. She was AEW TBS Champion for 508 days. The new WWE Women’s Champion made her way out at the end of SmackDown’s first hour this week, and she was ready to hold her title high.

All Cargill did was hold the microphone and proclaim that nobody needs to get it confused. “I’m that bitch,” she said before throwing down her microphone and leaving. As Cargill left, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss came out and interrupted her. They walked past Jade and posed under Flair’s pyro, but Cargill remained on the ramp. Flair wanted to go do something about Cargill, but Bliss pulled her back. That was an interesting, and tense, moment.

Cargill winning this title was a big deal. It also gave WWE the ability to really stick it to AEW with a photo-op. We will have to see what’s next for her, but she is certainly having a good time as champion so far.

What’s your take on Jade Cargill as WWE Women’s Champion? Do you think she will hold the title for as long as she was TBS Champion? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Zelina Vega Slaps The Taste Out Of Cody Rhodes’ Mouth During 11/7 WWE SmackDown

Zelina Vega Slaps The Taste Out Of Cody Rhodes' Mouth During 11/7 WWE SmackDown

WWE has a lot going on, and Cody Rhodes always has a massive target on his head. This week was no different on SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown’s November 7 episode went down at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. This was a good episode as they stacked the deck after Saturday Night’s Main Event. That included a new challenger stepping up to Cody Rhodes.

The Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, opened up WWE SmackDown this week. He started to cut a promo, but then he was rudely interrupted.

Zelina Vega and Aleister Black made their way out. They have been recently teamed up with each other, and Black wants the title belt now.

After a bit of a back-and-forth promo, Zelina Vega then slapped Cody Rhodes across the face. Then WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis came out to book a match between Black and Rhodes later on in the night.

We will have to see what happens next, but Cody Rhodes doesn’t get slapped like that often. Zelina Vega certainly kept Cody on his toes this week.

WWE Takes Subtle Shot at AEW With Championship Photoshoot

WWE Takes Subtle Shot at AEW With Championship Photoshoot

There is a lot going on in the pro wrestling world, but tribalism within the fan base is always thriving. Although WWE may not do a lot to kick AEW while they’re down, they had a great opportunity recently and took it.

WWE and AEW have been in competition since Tony Khan launched AEW. Most public comments and jabs have come from AEW, but now WWE seems to be responding in its own way.

Several current WWE champions were once part of AEW. Jade Cargill is the Women’s Champion, Cody Rhodes is the Undisputed World Champion, and Ricky Starks is the NXT Champion. CM Punk also holds the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which is a huge climactic point for his over a decade’s worth of stories in the pro wrestling world.

Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that since many of WWE’s current champions are former AEW stars, WWE took advantage of that fact. WWE reportedly gathered several of these former AEW names for a group photo in Salt Lake City. Rhodes, Punk, Cargill, and Starks posed together with their title belts. Monroe and Page were not included in the shoot.

He also said this situation sends a message that “the grass is greener.” He also noted that Rey Fenix and Rusev are still featured on television, but they were expected to leave AEW before they did.

The image appears to serve as WWE’s response to AEW’s previous remarks. We will have to see what the future holds for AEW, especially when it comes to people leaving that company for WWE, but Tony Khan will keep providing his stars with a platform to perform on, even if WWE has a larger one.

CM Punk Wins WWE World Title in Brutal War With Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event

CM Punk Wins WWE World Title in Brutal War With Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event

CM Punk’s long road back to the top of WWE finally paid off in Salt Lake City. The “Best in the World” is once again a world champion after defeating Jey Uso in an emotional, hard-hitting main event at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The show went down at the Delta Center, where fans knew history would be made. With Seth Rollins forced to vacate the WWE World Heavyweight Championship due to injury, the stage was set for Punk and Uso to battle for the vacant title. Punk earned his spot by winning a number-one contender’s match, while Uso secured his through a 20-man battle royal.

From the moment Jey made his entrance through the crowd, the energy inside the arena was electric. CM Punk followed to a thunderous ovation, and once the bell rang, the two wasted no time trading control in a bout that had the crowd hanging on every move.

Punk took early control, slowing the match down to his pace and working Uso over with submissions. Uso rallied back with a spear and a massive Uso Splash, nearly securing the win before Punk kicked out at two. The action spilled outside, where Jey speared Punk through the barricade, sending fans into a frenzy.

Post Malone, who was seated ringside, was caught on camera reacting in disbelief as both men hit each other with everything in their arsenals. Uso even attempted to use Punk’s own GTS finisher against him, but Punk reversed the momentum, hitting a series of crushing Go To Sleep strikes to finally put Uso down for the three-count.

After the match, Punk clutched the championship to his forehead before raising it high in front of the roaring Salt Lake City crowd. The moment was emotional—years of setbacks, injuries, and controversies all led to this comeback triumph.

The victory marks CM Punk’s seventh world title win and solidifies his return to the top of WWE’s mountain, proving that even after all these years, he can still steal the show.

Do you think CM Punk’s world title reign will last, or is someone already lining up to take him down? Share your thoughts in the comments and let us know what you think of his huge victory.
