Dominik Mysterio Uses Incredibly Creative Underhanded Strategy To Retain IC Title At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Dominik Mysterio Uses Incredibly Creative Underhanded Strategy To Retain IC Title At Saturday Night's Main Event

Dominik Mysterio isn’t afraid of pulling out all the stops to win and retain his title. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, he proved that there are no ends to his lying, cheating, and stealing.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event went down at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dominik Mysterio didn’t see a triple threat match coming for his IC Title, but that is what was on the card.

At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Dominik Mysterio defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match against Rusev and Penta.

This match went on third of the night, right after Jade Cargill won the WWE Women’s Title from Tiffany Stratton. Fans were ready for the triple threat match, and Dominik Mysterio was up to his old tricks.

Penta and Rusev both showed up in Salt Lake City, sick and tired of Dominik Mysterio as IC Champion. That being said, they each wanted to take the title home with them after Saturday Night’s Main Event, so any teamwork between the two was understandably limited.

Rusev beat Dominik around the ring for a bit, but then Penta nailed a dive on him. To that, Mysterio hit his own suicide dive on the masked luchador. This match continued with Rusev beating Dom a bit more, and Rusev even took a chance to kiss the IC Title and say, “I’m coming for you.”

Dom was caught doing a 6-1-9 by Rusev, and he locked in the Accolade. Then Penta broke that up with a kick to the back of Rusev’s head. Penta and Rusev kept going for a bit after that, as Dom took a nap on the outside.

Dom came back in, handed Rusev the chair and then faked an injury, so the referee would DQ him. That is when the referee told him that there is no DQ, so Rusev used the chair on Dom. Penta got involved and rallied for a very close near fall from Rusev after he took Dom out with a Mexican Destroyer.

Penta ducked under a Machka kick and hit hit pumphandle slam for a near fall of his own. Penta went for a top rope move, but Rusev nailed him with a Machka kick and an Accolade. The bell started to ring, and then Rusev let go, but it was reveal that Dom had the hammer in his hand. Rusev went after Dom in the timekeeper’s area, but Mysterio turned things around and sent Rusev into the ring steps.

Penta got his hands on the bell hammer, and then he hit Rusev with it. Dom threw Penta out of the ring and hit his frog splash for the win to retain his title once again.

This is a very interesting title picture to watch. After all, WWE has reportedly considered one more title run for John Cena with that championship. It may result in a title run that stretches all the way to his last match in a WWE ring.

Jade Cargill Wins WWE Women’s Title in Brutal Showdown With Tiffany Stratton

Jade Cargill Wins WWE Women’s Title in Brutal Showdown With Tiffany Stratton

Jade Cargill has officially taken over the SmackDown women’s division. After over a year of dominance and build-up, Cargill finally captured the WWE Women’s Championship by steamrolling Tiffany Stratton at Saturday Night’s Main Event, held at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The tension had been building for weeks after Jade Cargill turned on Stratton during the October 24 episode of SmackDown. After ambushing her in a brutal heel turn, Cargill didn’t just leave a statement—she picked up the Women’s Title and stared it down, signaling her intentions loud and clear. That confrontation led to a SummerSlam rematch being scheduled, setting the stage for a decisive showdown.

Ahead of the match, Tiffany Stratton was spotted limping, sparking rumors that she wasn’t fully cleared to compete. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis even offered Stratton a chance to pull out of the match, but she insisted on defending her title despite the obvious disadvantage.

Once the bell rang, Stratton tried to go on the offensive, but Jade quickly overwhelmed her. Cargill targeted the injured leg immediately, dropping Stratton with a chokeslam that shook the ring. From there, the fight spilled to the outside, where Cargill kept up the punishment.

After dragging her back into the ring, Cargill hit a series of crushing powerbombs, but Stratton refused to stay down, kicking out of every pin attempt. Still, Jade wasn’t rattled. She continued the assault and finally hit her finishing move, the Jaded, to seal the win and become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

The victory marked a defining moment in Jade Cargill’s WWE run. Not only did she send a message to the entire locker room with her ruthless performance, but she officially ended “Tiffy Time” and started a new era with herself at the top of the mountain.

Do you think Jade Cargill’s title reign will be unstoppable, or is Tiffany Stratton going to bounce back? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know.

Cody Rhodes Cheats To Retain Undisputed WWE Title At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Cody Rhodes Cheats To Retain Undisputed WWE Title At Saturday Night's Main Event

Cody Rhodes has a way about keeping the WWE Undisputed Championship. He may also be one to bend the rules from time to time.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event went down at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was a night full of title matches, and that included Cody Rhodes putting his championship on the line.

Drew McIntyre got Cody Rhodes to accept a stipulation that he can lose the title on DQ or count out. This was the main event spot during the October 31 episode of WWE SmackDown.

This match kicked off Saturday Night’s Main Event, and fans were more than ready for it. From the start of the match, Drew McIntyre tried to get Cody Rhodes to break the rules, and force a DQ and a title change. Rhodes sold for a bit to start off, as McIntyre stalked him around the ring to wear him down.

Drew McIntyre kept applying abuse to Cody Rhodes, and the American Nightmare took everything, including a massive backdrop from the Scottish Psychopath. They met each other on the top rope, where Cody nailed Drew with a superplex.

The match kept going, and Cody Rhodes eventually had his title, and he considered whacking Drew. Then McIntyre nailed a one-step Claymore Kick for a near fall. They went outside of the ring, where Cody was able to avoid getting a boot to the face. Then Cody wound up on the apron, where McIntyre pushed him through the table, and he barely beat the count to get back in.

The match continued, and Cody hit a Supercutter for a near fall. Drew got out of a Crossroads attempt, and then he shoved him into the referee. McIntyre hit a Glasgow Kiss after that, and then everyone was down. Drew got the belt from ringside, and he missed a swing with the title before both men collided with crossbody blocks in the ring. Everyone was out cold again.

Drew went for the title belt, but Cody hit a DDT on the championship. The referee didn’t see that spot, so the contest continued as Rhodes nailed a Crossroads and got the three count to retain the title.

What’s your take on how Cody Rhodes’ title defense worked out? Do you think that they should have booked it differently? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Cody Rhodes Accepts Dangerous Stipulation That Could Cost Him WWE Title Against Drew McIntyre

Cody Rhodes Accepts Dangerous Stipulation That Could Cost Him WWE Title Against Drew McIntyre

Cody Rhodes just made a bold decision that could blow up in his face at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

During the Halloween edition of WWE SmackDown, Cody didn’t just sign the contract to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre—he accepted a major twist that puts the title in serious jeopardy.

SmackDown closed with the contract signing inside the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. Instead of a simple pen-to-paper moment, it turned into a tense showdown. Drew McIntyre refused to sign the deal, calling it “lopsided” and reminding everyone that Rhodes could retain the title via disqualification or count-out.

McIntyre stood up to leave, telling SmackDown GM Nick Aldis to “go get one of them” when Aldis threatened to replace him. That’s when Cody stepped in and upped the stakes.

Rhodes told McIntyre that he wanted the match just as badly and agreed to flip the script. “110% fine with that,” Cody said about the new clause. Despite Aldis “strongly advising” against it, Cody added, “I don’t give a damn.” That move locked in the stipulation: Cody will lose the title if he’s disqualified or counted out.

Drew didn’t hesitate to sign after that. But he didn’t stop there—he got personal. McIntyre claimed he was “the real American Dream,” having migrated to the U.S. and made it big. Cody hit back with a brutal verbal finisher, reminding him that “when I got tired of WWE, I grew some balls and walked… you, my friend, you just got fired.”

Then came the low blow that sparked chaos: McIntyre brought up Cody’s daughters, saying they’d be happier if their dad were home for Halloween. Cody snapped, charging Drew, but got flattened by a Claymore Kick and sent crashing through a table.

Cody Rhodes is now walking into Saturday Night’s Main Event with everything on the line—including the title he fought so hard to win. One mistake, one misstep, and it all slips away.

Tommaso Ciampa Ruins Moment After Grueling US Title Open Challenge During 10/31 WWE SmackDown

Tommaso Ciampa Ruins Moment After Grueling US Title Open Challenge During 10/31 WWE SmackDown

The United States Championship is one of the company’s most defended titles, and there’s a reason for that. Open challenges give new competitors a chance to show off, and this week was no exception.

WWE SmackDown took place on October 31 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The same venue will hold Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. The crowd filled the arena and was ready for the buildup to Saturday’s show. That included a US Title match.

Ilja Dragunov won the United States Title in shocking fashion during the October 17 episode of SmackDown. He will carry on John Cena and Sami Zayn’s legacy with the title, so the open challenge continued.

This match went down as the first contest of the night. Fans had no idea who would come out to face the US Champion, and then Axiom came out. Nathan Frazer was in his ring gear, and he was ready for a fight. Tommaso Ciampa came out to disrupt them. He didn’t want Frazer to get a shot, and he mocked the idea that Frazer could get that opportunity. To that, Dragunov said that it’s an open opportunity, and the match carried on.

This match carried on, and it stretched through a commercial break. Dragunov was busted open in the process, but Nathan Frazer wasn’t able to put the champion away. There were several near falls as fans in Salt Lake City cheered both competitors in this match on.

Fans chanted “this is awesome” as they continued, and Nathan Frazer continued with a chopped up chest, as it resembled hamburger meat. Frazer was able to land a massive dive, but he got a near fall prior to another commercial break. This match went way longer than some may have first thought.

The match kept going, and Frazer nailed a Phoenix Splash for a near fall. This was his match to lose at a point, but Dragunov kept kicking out. Fans started another “this is awesome” chant as the contest continued. Frazer also kicked out of everything that the champion could throw at him. Both men were certainly leaving it all in the ring. Eventually, Dragunov nailed his H-Bomb finisher and got the pin to retain his title.

Although the champion retained his title, Nathan Frazer certainly took him to the limit. Only time will tell how long he will keep that title, but Frazer also earned his respect as they hugged it out in the middle of the ring.

After that, as Nathan Frazer was leaving, Tommaso Ciampa ran in with a sneak attack and took the Fraxiom member down. He obviously had some bad blood remaining after not getting a shot at the US Title. We will have to see how long it takes for Ciampa to get a title shot of his own.

What’s your take on how the US Title has been booked on SmackDown? Do you think that the title is in the right hands? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Jade Cargill Mocks Tiffany Stratton’s Catchphrase In Savage Fashion During 10/31 WWE SmackDown

Jade Cargill Mocks Tiffany Stratton's Catchphrase In Savage Fashion During 10/31 WWE SmackDown

WWE is full of rivalries, and one is heating up just before Saturday Night’s Main Event. Tiffany Stratton wants to remind everyone that it’s “Tiffy Time,” but Jade had another idea this week.

WWE SmackDown’s October 31 episode went down at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This was the same venue that will host Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1. Naturally, fans were ready for anything.

Jade Cargill’s heel turn was a shocking creative move. It also opened up a big opportunity for the former AEW TBS Champion. Now, they are set to battle at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Cargill was on hand for SmackDown this week, but so was Tiffany Stratton. The WWE Women’s Champion rushed the ring to start the show, and she demanded that Jade Cargill come out.

Jade Cargill came out and she had security all around her. WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was in the ring, and he wanted to call security. That was when Jade Cargill said that he didn’t need to get security involved.

After that, Jade Cargill made it clear that “Taffy Time” is over at Saturday Night’s Main Event. She left after that, but the tension between those two is far from over. Only time will tell if Tiffany Stratton makes Jade Cargill regret that “taffy time” comment.

In case you weren’t aware, that “Taffy Time” comment was a jab as Tiffany Stratton’s appearance. According to Urban Dictionary, taffy refers to an “unusually plump man/woman with some of them big taties this is a word that tarts use to make fun of big peeps.”

Jade Cargill’s heel turn has not been universally praised. That being said, she is not going to let anything get in her way when it comes to securing the top female title on the blue brand. She also isn’t afraid to take a cheap shot in the process.

What’s your take on WWE’s booking for Saturday Night’s Main Event? Do you believe that Jade Cargill will win the Women’s Title from Tiffany Stratton? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Enzo Amore Drops His Own Version of Dusty Rhodes’ ‘Hard Times’ Promo On 40th Anniversary

Enzo Amore Drops His Own Version of Dusty Rhodes’ “Hard Times” Promo On 40th Anniversary

WWE history has been shaped by many legendary people over the years. It’s hard to ignore the influence that Dusty Rhodes had on the business.

While he worked with talent in NXT during the last portion of his life, Dusty Rhodes’ promo classes focused on improvisation, audience connection, and being real. This was something the Son of a Plumber knew all too well, and he tried his best to pass along those tools with weekly promo classes for talent.

Dusty Rhodes used things like spontaneous scenarios to help Superstars think fast and find their voice, like telling Saraya to pretend Roman Reigns was her ex who stole her toaster. These sessions taught wrestlers to adapt, connect with the crowd, and move beyond scripted lines. In the process, Rhodes helped shape a new generation of talent built on real-time communication and crowd awareness.

Real1 was known as Enzo Amore during that time, and he will never forget everything that Dusty Rhodes taught him. He also dropped a post that remembered one of Rhodes’ most famous promos, his legendary “Hard Times” promo. That post also included Real1 cutting his own Dusty-influenced promo.

“40 years ago to the day, Dusty Rhodes dropped “Hard Times.” 10/29/85 • 4thROPE • Real1 • ‘Hard Times'”:

In a follow-up post, Real1 also gave flowers to Mike Rotunda, who is currently in hospice care. “Mike Rotunda, love ya man. Thanks for being an awesome dad, an awesome wrestler, and just the coolest producer you could ask for. Praying for ya.”

The former Enzo Amore has been very open about how Dusty Rhodes influenced him. He also once shared a story about how Rhodes fired him, and his then-tag team partner Big Cass, and they were never told about it. Through it all, they all made a ton of unforgettable memories along the way.

Dusty Rhodes taught those future WWE Superstars well, and they used that talent to make big names for themselves. At the same time, his students will never forget about what he taught them. Real1 is also going to make sure that fans don’t forget about the genius talent that the American Dream had as well.

TNA Knockouts Title Match Ends In Chaos During 10/28 WWE NXT

TNA Knockouts Title Match Ends In Chaos During 10/28 WWE NXT

NXT is a cutthroat brand, and you never know what will happen in the top of the card. That was very true this week as the show collapsed at the end of the broadcast.

The October 28 episode of NXT brought a ton of fallout after Halloween Havoc. That included a TNA Knockouts Title match.

During this week’s episode of NXT, the TNA Knockouts World Championship was on the line as Kelani Jordan defended the title against Jordynne Grace. This was a very interesting match to keep your eye on.

Jordynne Grace has a long history with the championship and is a well-established name in TNA. Grace rose to prominence during her time in TNA Wrestling, where she became a three-time Knockouts World Champion. She also made history as the first woman to win the TNA Digital Media Championship and held the Knockouts Tag Team Championship as well.

This match went down as the main event match of the night. They also received a big fight feel, thanks to Mike Rome’s ring introductions.

This match included a few close moments as both competitors tried hard to put the other away. Fans were chanting “this is awesome” after Kelani Jordan kicked out of a jackknife powerbomb. Then Jordan returned fire, but Grace was right on her heels with a counter for every counter.

Eventually, Trick Williams and Ricky Saints’ brawl continued on and spilled to the ringside area. Kelani Jordan used this distraction to bring her title into the ring, and then she kicked out of a near fall from Grace. Trick and Ricky brawled through the ring, but the match continued. Then Jordan grabbed her title and smacked Grace to get the pin and retain the Knockouts Title.

We will have to see what happens next, but Kelani Jordan is still the TNA Knockouts Title, which robbed Jordynne Grace of her fourth run with the belt, which would have made her the seventh woman in history to do so.
