Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed Trade Blows After Samoan Line Sets Off Explosive Raw Segment

Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed Trade Blows After Samoan Line Sets Off Explosive Raw Segment

WWE Clash in Paris will have quite a grudge match.

On August 25, 2025, WWE Raw was held at bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham, United Kingdom. This was quite a show on Netflix, and the OTC opened up the show.

Roman Reigns has been on a mission since re-emerging onto the scene. He was on hand in Birmingham, and fans were more than happy to see him come out to make his mark on the show.

Fans were blasting Roman Reigns with soccer-chant sing-song verses of his own name before his entrance music even cut off. They were also more than ready to acknowledge him and sing his song over and over again.

Once Roman Reigns got around to his promo, he had to acknowledge that it’s not old times anymore, and he’s not the same guy that he used to. To that, fans chanted, “yes you are!” Then Reigns said, “maybe I can be.” Then he brought up how Cody Rhodes predicted a year and a half ago that he would have his downfall.

Roman Reigns said that his time will come to take another shot at the championship. He then listed all the things he lost, his Bloodline, his titles, his Wise Man, so they had to find things to take from him. Once Reigns brought up Bronson Reed, Paul Heyman made his way out to address him alongside Bronson Reed with the shoe-la-fala around his neck.

Paul Heyman said that he misses Roman Reigns, and he still loves him, which is why he was out to disrespect him in Birmingham. He also said that Roman Reigns needs tough love, but he’s not man enough to beat that tough love into him at Clash in Paris, but Bronson Reed is. Then Reed had a chance to cut a promo as fans responded in disdain. He then said that he’s the Samoan that his father warned him about. Roman was surprised to hear that Reed is Samoan, as he said that “your ass belongs to me.” Then he demanded that Reed come down, acknowledge him, and apologize to fans for wasting his time.

Bronson Reed declined to come to him, so Roman Reigns met him in the aisle, and they brawled in Birmingham. They went to the ring where Reed almost stole another pair of sneakers, but Reigns stopped him. Then Bronson Reed crushed Roman with a senton before security ran down, but they didn’t do much to stop him. Then Roman landed a Superman punch to send Reed running as Reigns chased after him before the two brawled even more.

We will have to see how things go down at Clash in Paris. We will have complete coverage of the big premium live event here at Ringside News.

Ricky Saints Steps Up To Oba Femi For NXT Title Shot After Dominating Je’Von Evans At Heatwave

Ricky Saints Steps Up To Oba Femi For NXT Title Shot After Dominating Je'Von Evans At Heatwave

Heatwave was not Je’Von Evans’ night.

WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. The event streamed live on Peacock in the United States and on Netflix internationally, and fans were treated to quite a show.

Je’Von Evans got another chance to get his hands on the NXT Title as he faced Oba Femi in Massachusetts. He got this by beating Trick Williams a couple of weeks ago on NXT. This match was understandably the main event of the night.

This match had a big fight feel as they received great ring introductions. They got going in a big way as fans were incredibly hot for the contest. Oba Femi beat his challenger down as Je’Von Evans sold every single one of his moves.

After he brutalized Evans, Oba pushed him to the ground with a submission to slow down his bouncy opponent. Fans cheered and chanted for both Superstars as the match continued, especially as Evans got back on his feet and fought on.

The Young OG kept kicking out of everything The Ruler threw at him. Oba Femi didn’t let that stop him, as he continued to pick Je’Von Evans apart. After soaking in a ton of punishment, Evans came back to hit a few moves, including a splash, but he already had so much taken out of him.

Oba Femi kicked out after a second frog splash from Je’Von Evans. Then he smashed his challenger with a lariat off a German suplex to go ham in the corner with a few shoulder tackles. Evans hit an RKO, but then he caught Evans in the air with a spear for a two count. Fans chanted “this is awesome,” as they went into the final stretch.

The referee was taken out and Evans nailed an RKO followed by another off the top rope. He got the pinfall, and a referee slid in to count, but then the original official jumped up and caught Oba Femi’s foot under the rope, so the pin didn’t count. Fans chanted “bullsh*t” as Oba lifted Evans up in the ring and threw him through the announce table on the floor. Then he got Evans back in the ring with a Fall From Grace for the win to retain.

We will keep our eye on the NXT Title scene. Things are likely to be very interesting as WWE’s developmental brand continues.

Ash By Elegance Wins TNA Knockouts Title at WWE NXT Heatwave

Ash By Elegance Wins TNA Knockouts Title at WWE NXT Heatwave

The TNA Knockouts Title is going home.

WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. The event was crammed full of big matches, including for the NXT Women’s Title.

Jacy Jayne is riding high as NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts Champion. At heatwave, she had quite a test ahead of her. At NXT Heatwave, Jacy Jayne defended the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance in a triple threat match.

This match went down as the third on the show, right after Dark State won the NXT Tag Team Titles. The match was non-stop action, which falls in line with TNA’s mantra. The entire Elegance Brand was on Ash by Elegance’s side, as Fatal Influence was also in the champion’s corner.

Masha fought on to disrupt Ash and Jacy’s momentum. That being said, she was the only competitor who showed up by herself. Fans chanted “Jacy two belts” as the match carried on.

Fatal Influence got Jacy Jayne’s foot on the rope to break a pin, and this started a fight with the Elegance Brand. Then the referee threw them out of the ringside area. Later on, the Elegance Brand was able to pull Jacy Jayne out of the ring, and this gave Ash by Elegance a chance to nail a splash to win the title.

We will keep our eye on Jacy Jayne. She obviously has the favor of Triple H and Shawn Michaels at this point to carry such a heavy weight. Only time will tell what she will eventually do on the main roster if given the chance.

Dark State Wins WWE NXT Tag Team Titles at Heatwave 2025

Dark State Wins WWE NXT Tag Team Titles at Heatwave 2025

We have new NXT Tag Team Champions.

WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. The NXT Tag Team Titles were on the line, which put Hank and Tank against their biggest opponents yet.

Dark State were set to send two representatives to Heatwave for an NXT Tag Team Title match. Although the faction kept those choices a secret, Hank and Tank were still ready for a fight.

This match went on second of the night, right after Lola Vice claimed the #1 contender spot in the opening match. After a bit of discussion, Dion Lennox and Osiris were the two men who Dark State picked for this match.

Booker T declared that this match was his shucky-ducky quack quack moment. Fans in the building were also very much behind this title match, especially as things settled in.

Dark State arrived in NXT in order to shape the brand to their image. Winning the tag team titles would do a lot to get that accomplished. Hank and Tank were strong babyfaces as Tank got a hot tag, and he cleaned house. However, Dark State used their tag team abilities as a force to stay in this title match.

Tank hit a swanton on both members of Dark State, but he couldn’t make the pin. Hank got the tag after that and he nailed a Black Hole Slam before jumping on all of Dark State on the outside. Then they ganged up on Dion Lennox for their finisher, but Dark State came back to life and used the numbers game to nail a Doomsday Device to win the titles.

We will have to see what is next for the NXT Tag Team Title division. There is no shortage of teams, but they will have a big act to follow after Heatwave.

What’s your take on how NXT booked the tag team title match at Heatwave? Do you think that they should have gone another way? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Lola Vice Claims #1 Contender Spot for WWE NXT Women’s Title At Heatwave

Lola Vice Claims #1 Contender Spot for WWE NXT Women's Title At Heatwave

The new #1 contender is a spicy one.

WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 took place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. The card also helped determine who would face Jacy Jayne next for her NXT Women’s Title.

Jacy Jayne walked into NXT Heatwave as NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts Champion. Although she defended the Knockouts Title during the show, another match went down to figure out who would get a crack at her other title.

At NXT Heatwave, Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice competed in a match. The winner was named the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.

This match kicked off the night and fans were red-hot for it. This match saw each woman get her spotlight. Everyone in the match had their own unique motivation to get to the next level in NXT’s women’s division.

The match spilled out onto the floor eventually, where Kelani Jordan nailed a hurricanrana off the ring post to the floor. Her mother was at ringside as she went to the ring to take on Lola Vice, where she got a two count after a DDT. This match continued as the match carried on.

Parker almost had the match, but Kelani took her out. Then the two fought on the apron for a bit before they returned to the ring, where Kelani kicked Parker off the apron with a kick before landing a dive on both competitors to the floor.

The match continued as Lola Vice latched on a sleeper to Jordan. Then Parker joined the match, and they all ate feet from Vice before she landed hip attacks to the corner. Then she got a two count on Jordan.

Fans chanted, “this is awesome,” as the match continued. Everyone in the match fought hard, as they all showed just how bad they wanted it. Parker countered a split legged moonsault from Jordan. Then Vice hit a spinning slam on Lola before climbing up to hit a 450 splash, but Vice countered with a submission before Parker took her out. Then Lola got the pin on Parker to win the match.

We will have to see if this match results in a title change down the line. Anything can happen in NXT, and this opening match certainly proved that.

What’s your take on who Jacy Jayne will face next for her title? Do you think she will close out this year with a title around her waist? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

Hangman Page Wins Chaotic AEW World Title Match At Forbidden Door 2025

Hangman Page Wins Chaotic AEW World Title Match At Forbidden Door 2025

AEW brought a chaotic World Title match for Forbidden Door.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door went down at the O2 Arena in London. The AEW World Title was on the line, and that was quite a featured match on the card.

MJF was tricked into cashing in his guaranteed title match against Hangman Page. That being said, the match had an interesting stipulation. The title can change hands via a DQ or a count out, which puts the champion at a disadvantage.

This contest had a big match feel, thanks to the ring introductions from Justin Roberts. Once they got going, things were intense. The two eventually settled into the match, and then MJF gained control.

After the match went on for a while, MJF went out and cleared the timekeeper’s table to take it to the ringside area. He placed it, tablecloth and all, next to the ring, and he laid Hangman Page on it, however, the champion got up, and they fought on the apron. This resulted in Hangman hitting a moonsault into a tombstone on the outside of the ring.

Eventually, Hangman hit a Deadeye through the table while standing on the apron. This was a big moment, but he couldn’t capitalize as MJF was dead weight in the ring, but he got his foot on the ropes. The match kept going after that as Hangman tried to rally the crowd, but he took a shot to the face from a steel chair for his troubles.

Hangman Page took a tombstone from MJF on the broken table to bust him open the hard way. He laid on the outside of the ring and nearly broke a ten count. After that, MJF was busted open in a big way, and he bled all over the ring after taking a shot from Hangman in the ring. Fans chanted “you deserve it,” as MJF started to bleed thanks to the exposed turnbuckle.

Bryan Danielson said that they were leaving it all in the ring as the Beaded GOAT sat in on commentary. Fans were also chanting, “this is awesome,” as the two gathered themselves for the final stretch of the contest. After a long series of two and one counts, Hangman nailed a Deadeye for a near fall. Fans exploded after that as nearly 19,000 fans were on their feet chanting “AEW.”

Fans chanted, “fight forever” as the two continued. MJF got his Dynamite Diamond Ring out and handed it to Hangman Page, and then he spit on him. Hangman almost hit him with the ring, which would cause a DQ and a title change, but Page tossed the ring down before MJF pushed him into the referee. Then MJF nailed a Heatseeker as the referee counted to three, but Hangman’s foot was on the bottom rope the whole time. Suddenly, Mark Briscoe came out, but security had to hold him back as he was so angry about this injustice. Suddenly, Bryce Remsburg saw the foot on the rope and he said the match will continue.

After that, Hangman Page rallied and went for a Buckshot, but MJF hit a low blow. Eventually, MJF nailed Page with the steel case with his guaranteed contract, but Page kicked out. MJF put his ring on, but the referee stopped him. Then Page hit him with the steel contract case and he hit a Deadeye before nailing a Buckshot Lariat to win the match and retain his title. However, MJF still has his guaranteed titled shot at any time in the future.

We will have to see what AEW does in the future for the World Title scene. At this point, it’s anyone’s guess who will step up next.
