Roman Reigns Loses In Shocking Fashion At WWE Crown Jewel Perth

Roman Reigns has been on a path of dominance for years in WWE. That means he very seldom loses at all, and that means any clean pinfall is a notable moment.

WWE Crown Jewel 2025 was quite a night at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. You can never count out a big surprise to open up a WWE event.

Roman Reigns walked into WWE Crown Jewel with the intention of getting even with Bronson Reed. Of course, being from the country, Reed knew his battleground, so he picked the stipulation of an Australian street fight.

This match got started in a hurry, and then spilled out into the crowd. The entire arena became this match’s battlefield as they continued. After Roman Reigns got cocky and grabbed the microphone to work the crowd a bit, Bronson jumped him and took control.

The match kept going as Bronson Reed got a chair in the ring. Then Roman Reigns was able to lift Reed up and slam him into it. Reigns knew what he had to bring to the table to take down Bronson, and that’s what he did.

Bronson Reed was able to catch Roman’s Superman Punch and turn it into a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Eventually, Reed went face-first into a chair he placed in the corner, then he ate a Superman Punch for a near fall.

Eventually, Bronson Reed rolled out of the ring, but Bron Breakker showed up to spear Roman Reigns as a surprise attack at ringside. Then Bron and Bronson put Roman Reigns through the announce table with a double powerbomb. Reed went back to the ring to prop up a table in the corner.

They brought Roman Reigns back in the ring, but then The Usos showed up for the save. Jimmy and Jey Uso fought off Bron Breakker and then they took the fight to Bronson Reed. Eventually, Bron and Bronson were able to take out The Usos, but Roman Reigns was able to use that distraction to lay in a Superman Punch or two and then Jey Uso accidentally speared Roman Reigns through the table in the corner.

Before Jey could fix things, Bron Breakker speared him and then Bronson Reed hit a Tsunami in Australia to beat Roman Reigns. This was a surprising way to beat Roman Reigns in this match. In the aftermath, Roman Reigns had a stern choice of words for The Usos as they sat in the middle of the ring.

America’s Star Spangled Banner Booed Heavily By Australians Before WWE Crown Jewel Perth

America's Star Spangled Banner Booed Heavily By Australians Before WWE Crown Jewel Perth

Things are very interesting when it comes to world politics, and Australians may not 100% love the USA right now.

WWE Crown Jewel 2025 was quite a night at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. That being said, fans were ready to express their opinions about a lot of things.

Prior to WWE Crown Jewel starting, the company had Sophie Foster come up to sing two songs, one of which was booed very heavily. They started off with America’s Star Spangled Banner, and it didn’t go well for her.

Fans in Perth booed the Star Spangled Banner heavily. They didn’t seem to like the American influence or patriotism inserted into the beginning of their Australian event. Then, when their own national anthem started, things changed dramatically.

Fans in the RAC Arena in Perth started singing their own national anthem with pride. Every word was belted out as their anthem continued. That was certainly not the case for the American representation that preceded that song.

We will have to see what happens at WWE Crown Jewel. It certainly got started with an interesting turn of events.

WWE brought quite a surprise at the end of SmackDown this week. It will also make fans of real-life blending with storylines very happy.

The October 10 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia. The main event came down to a brutal battle between Aleister Black and Damian Priest, and then Zelina Vega showed up.

WWE will sometimes pair up real-life couples on television. That hasn’t happened for Aleister Black and Zelina Vega yet, but they ended that trend of keeping them apart this week on SmackDown.

The main event in Perth this week saw Aleister Black and Damian Priest tear each other apart in a last man standing match. This was a brutal match that saw them fighting all over the arena.

In the end, they wound up on a table in the middle of the crowd. It looked like Damian Priest was going to put the death blow on Aleister Black, but then Zelina Vega jumped up out of nowhere.

Zelina Vega pleaded for her husband’s life, and commentators were very confused to see her there. They did not mention the two’s real-life marriage behind the scenes, but it was apparent that they are now intertwined in WWE storyline now.

In the end, Aleister Black used this distraction to launch a fireball into his opponent’s face. Then the referee counted to 10 and Damian Priest was defeated. The show ended with Zelina Vega and Aleister Black celebrating. Then Black walked back over to trash talk Priest a bit to rub salt in the wound.

Zelina Vega has been on her own since leaving the LWO. Now, it appears that WWE has something else for her to do. We will have to see what happens next. This was certainly an interesting addition to SmackDown this week.

Spoiler On Multiple Surprise Returns During 10/10 WWE SmackDown

WWE saw an exciting return this week that could shake things up.

The October 10 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia. You can never predict what Triple H will book, and the go-home episode of SmackDown before Crown Jewel proved that with the surprise return that brought the MFTs back together.

This week’s SmackDown saw Shinsuke Nakamura return to accept Sami Zayn’s US Title Open Challenge. This was a big match that had fans going, but then a masked man jumped Shinsuke Nakamura.

It was then revealed that Tama Tonga was under that mask. This marks his return to the scene, but he wasn’t alone.

The rest of the MFTs, along with Solo Sikoa surrounded the ring, and they took out Sami Zayn. The United States Title is something that Solo Sikoa really wants back, after all.

Tama Tonga’s last match in WWE took place on April 11, 2025, when he teamed with Solo Sikoa in a losing effort against LA Knight and Randy Orton on WWE Friday Night SmackDown. Later that month, Tonga was written off television following an on-screen attack by LA Knight. It was later reported that Tonga suffered an undisclosed injury that may require surgery, with no confirmed return date. Now we know that he is back and ready to mix things up in a big way.

We will have to see what is next for the MFTs. Solo Sikoa was just saying how he is close to making the stable whole again, and it appears that we know that tease was for Tama Tonga.

Potential Spoiler on Return Ahead of WWE SmackDown in Lexington

You never know what can happen in WWE, and the company wants to bring surprises to every corner of the globe.

The October 10 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the RAC Arena in Perth, Western Australia. You never know what Triple H will book on any given night, and we had a former champion’s return during the go-home SmackDown before Crown Jewel.

Sami Zayn came out as the first match of the night on SmackDown this week. Fans sang along with his entrance music as the United States Title was defended for the first time in Australia.

Suddenly, Shinsuke Nakamura returned to the ring. His music went back to his older babyface tune, and his darker persona was gone, as he traded it for his former King of Strong Style look.

After that, Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura carried on with their match. Nakamura was on fire in the first part, as Wade Barrett called him “reborn” on commentary. The two battled through a commercial break as fans cheered on.

By the time we came back from commercial, Sami Zayn had control of the match once again. Then, Nakamura was able to use his lethal limbs to fight back. There were a couple close near falls after that, and they also went to another commercial.

Fans were really into this match as the two fought on the outside, barely making it back before the referee could count to 10. Then Nakamura nailed a Kinshasa as Zayn was able to get his foot on the bottom rope. Suddenly, Nakamura was assaulted by a masked man at ringside and the match was called off. It was then revealed that the MFTs were behind that assault.

Shinsuke Nakamura’s last match in WWE took place on June 13, 2025, during the first round of the King of the Ring tournament on SmackDown. The match was a Fatal Four-Way contest featuring Cody Rhodes, Andrade, Damian Priest, and Nakamura. Cody Rhodes won the match, and then Nakamura took a break. Now, he is back with his old music and persona.

Team TNA Dominates Men’s Survivor Series Match During 10/7 ShowDown Special

Team TNA Dominates Men's Survivor Series Match During 10/7 ShowDown Special

TNA Wrestling proved a real point and sent a dangerous message at ShowDown.

WWE NXT’s October 7 episode was a special ShowDown event, which was a major crossover between NXT and TNA Wrestling. The night was promoted as a battle of brands, and the event carried the energy of an invasion storyline, even if they had to change that event name.

The main event was a Men’s Survivor Series-style match that saw NXT’s Ricky Saints, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Myles Borne take on TNA’s Mike Santana, Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Leon Slater. Joe Hendry served as the special guest referee, adding even more intrigue to the contest.

Frankie Kazarian was able to take out Myles Borne early on, which gave TNA an advantage. Then Je’Von Evans was eliminated by Leon Slater to make it 4 on 2 as they went to another commercial break.

The match continued until Trick Williams walked off on Ricky Saints, leaving him to fend for himself. The former Ricky Starks was alone with the rest of the TNA team, and things didn’t look good for him. Suddenly, he was able to get a pin on Frankie Kazarian to take him out of the match.

Leon Slater jumped on Saints after that, but the NXT Champion didn’t lay down. Then Saints was able to pin Slater as he turned a splash into a pin while he got his knees up. Moose jumped in next, but Saints fought him off the best he could. Saints kept taking all the abuse he could from Moose as Joe Hendry served as referee. Moose tagged in Mike Santana after that to continue the abuse on Saints. They continued and Moose accidentally speared Santana for a near fall, and then Moose nailed Saints with a powerbomb before Santana hit a Spin The Block to take out Ricky Saints for good and win the match for TNA Wrestling.

We will have to see what is next for TNA Wrestling and NXT’s relationship. This ShowDown event was certainly a special night for pro wrestling.

Ex WWE Superstar Makes AEW Debut To Accept Mercedes Mone’s Open Challenge During 10/7 Dynamite

Long Awaited AEW Debut Finally Takes Place During 3/12 Dynamite

You never know who will show up in AEW next, and they have added another former WWE Superstar to their list.

AEW Dynamite presented a special Title Tuesday edition on October 7, 2025, live from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida. The show featured Mercedes Mone defending her TBS Championship in an open challenge, and fans had no idea who to expect.

Fans were taken off guard as they saw who answered the call, because it was a new face to AEW, but not to pro wrestling fans. Lacey Lane, who was previously known as Kayden Carter in WWE, made her debut for the company. She was released from WWE alongside her tag team partner, Katana Chance, earlier this year.

Lane has wrestled for Tony Khan’s company before, but only under the Ring of Honor banner. She first appeared on the October 9, 2025, episode of ROH on HonorClub in a dark match against Lena Kross. Her most recent outing came on November 9, 2025, where she faced Mina Shirakawa for the ROH Interim Women’s World Television Title at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

The former Kayden Carter’s appearance on AEW Dynamite marked her first match under the AEW brand. We will have to see what happens next for her, but she was unable to topple The CEO in Daily’s Place.

Ethan Page Sends Mustafa Ali Plummeting For Sick Bump During North American Title Match At 10/7 ShowDown Special

Ethan Page Sends Mustafa Ali Plummeting For Sick Bump During North American Title Match At 10/7 ShowDown Special

Mustafa Ali showed up in NXT with the intention of putting on a performance we won’t forget, and he achieved that.

The NXT and TNA Wrestling ShowDown event on the October 7 episode of WWE NXT featured a major title bout with deep personal history included. Ethan Page defended the NXT North American Championship against Mustafa Ali, who made a surprise return to the brand.

The match carried extra weight, as Ali was originally scheduled to compete for the same title last year before his WWE release. His unexpected comeback wasn’t just about revenge, because it was about reclaiming the opportunity that was once taken from him.

This match had fans going the whole time, and The CW actually had to bleep out a lot of those chants. The two fought hard through a commercial break, and when we came back, they were battling for position on the top rope.

Ethan Page was able to put Mustafa Ali out and then nearly decapitate him with a big boot. Then Mustafa Ali bridged out of the pin and fell flat on his face. The match kept going, but Ethan Page couldn’t close the deal, no matter how hard he fought.

Mustafa Ali fired back with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Then Page moved out of the way of a 4-5-0, and he nailed a kick. Ali was able to reverse out of an Ego’s Edge for a roll-up, but Page kicked out. Then Ali went for a massive springboard stunner, but Page knocked him out of the air. Page went for a Twisted Grin next, but Ali countered into a two count.

They went to the outside, where Ali nailed a suicide dive on Page. Fans chanted “holy sh*t” as they were bleeped the whole time. Ali climbed up to the top rope, but the microphone cord was tied around his feet. Then Page shoved him off and Ali took a sick bump. Page went outside right after that, and he threw Ali back in to hit a Twisted Grin to retain his title.

What’s your take on the North American Title match at ShowDown? Do you believe that things should have been booked differently? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

NXT Reigns Supreme In Women’s Survivor Series Match During 10/7 ShowDown Special

NXT Reigns Supreme In Women's Survivor Series Match During 10/7 ShowDown Special

The women’s division from NXT and TNA Wrestling brought quite a battle.

The ShowDown event on the October 7 episode of WWE NXT continued its theme of brand warfare with a major women’s Survivor Series-style match featuring NXT and TNA Wrestling stars. The women of both promotions stepped into the spotlight to prove which brand held the edge in one of the most talked-about matchups of the event.

Team NXT was represented by Jacy Jayne, Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, and Jaida Parker, while TNA sent Knockouts Champion (and NXT Superstar) Kelani Jordan, The IInspiration’s Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, and Mara Sade into battle. Serving as the special guest referee was former TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, and that was an interesting piece to the puzzle.

This match went on second, right after the Hardy Boyz won the NXT Tag Team Titles. The two teams battled through a commercial break without any eliminations. Then Sade was able to eliminate Jaida Parker with a roll-up pin. As Sade celebrated, Sol Ruca took her out with Soul Snatcher to even up the sides. Then they went to commercial break once again.

Cassie Lee was eliminated next, and then Jessica McKay tapped out. That left only Kelani Jordan against the whole NXT side. At one point, Jordan almost had a pin on Jacy Jayne, but Grace didn’t make the count in time. Jordan was then able to nail an Angle Slam and eliminate Lola Vice to leave her with Sol Ruca.

After that, Sol Ruca and Kelani Jordan fought on, and Jordan nailed a top rope Spanish Fly, but Ruca her knees up and hit the Soul Snatcher. Then Jacy Jayne jumped in to steal the pin to win the match.

We will keep a close eye on NXT and TNA Wrestling’s working relationship as they continue. At this point, you never know what they will pull out next. One thing is for sure, it is bound to be entertaining.

What’s your take on how the ShowDown event turned out? Do you think that TNA Wrestling should stay off NXT? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
