Samoa Joe is All Elite. Yes, you read that right. The Samoan Submission Machine showed up at tonight’s ROH Supercard of Honor pay-per-view event to stop Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt from further assaulting the newly-crowned ROH Undisputed World Champion, Jonathan Gresham.

Joe entered the ring to a roaring ovation from the crowd inside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. The former ROH champion had a stare down with Lethal before laying down Dutt with a chokehold as the crowd chanted “Joe’s gonna kill you!.”

The commentary team announced that Joe will be on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite. AEW President and CEO Tony Khan confirmed in a tweet that Joe had signed with the company.

It’s official! @SamoaJoe is ALL ELITE! See you on Wednesday at #AEWDynamite! #SupercardOfHonor@AEW

Khan had previously stated that he might have a trick up his sleeve for ROH Supercard of Honor. Joe will undoubtedly be a great asset to AEW. We’ll have to wait till Wednesday to find out more.
