Gigi Dolin Shows Off Bloody Injury After Brawl With Jacy Jayne On WWE NXT

Gigi Dolin took over the NXT women’s tag division alongside Jacy Jayne. Unfortunately, Jacy showed her true colors when she took out a page from Shawn Michaels’ playbook two weeks ago on WWE NXT. Gigi turned face and this kicked off her first big solo feud on the white and gold brand.

As seen on WWE NXT this week, Gigi Dolin made her surprise return to attack Jacy Jayne after her match with Indi Hartwell ended in a disqualification. The two former tag team partners brawled outside the ring that led to Gigi tearing off her skin. Gigi took to Twitter to show the wound, while delivering a stern warning to Jacy.

Shawn Michaels gave his blessings to the former Toxic Attraction members to recreate the Heartbreak Kid’s very owen infamous heel turn against Marty Jannetty. Jacy Jayne explained on Busted Open Radio that nothing was known about what they would be doing on the day of the Toxic Attraction split.

It remains to be seen how Shawn Michaels will book the feud in the wake of Gigi Dolin’s return to NXT this. The WWE Hall of Famer clearly knows how to create and recreate magic inside the ring. Michaels will also be the special guest of The Grayson Waller Effect at NXT Roadblock.

CM Punk Spotted At NJPW Battle In The Valley

CM Punk had a solid 2022 in AEW. Punk finally became the undisputed AEW World Champion at All Out, but had to relinquish the title because of his involvement in a post-show brawl with The Elite. His latest appearance might come as a shock to his peers and fans alike.

Sean Sapp reported on Punk’s weekend getaway from behind Fightful’s paywall. According to the report, Punk is in attendance for New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Battle in the Valley at San Jose Civic in San Jose, California.

A picture from the event that made to social media showed Punk in the audience with Lars Fredriksen and talking to Gisele Shaw and others. You can check out the photo at the end of the article.

CM Punk’s attendance at Battle in the Valley will undoubtedly raise questions about his pro wrestling future on social media. Some might suggest that the Second City Saint is at the event to show support for Mercedes Moné, who is set to face IWGP Women’s Champion Kairi at the event.

Others will argue that Punk wants to work for NJPW amid his continued absence from AEW. Punk’s latest social activity comes days after Chris Jericho said he’s always loved working with the Second City Saint.
