Carmella's Latest WWE RAW Outfit Was A Nod To Lita

Carmella worked incredibly hard to make a name for herself in the super-stacked WWE roster. Mela’s dedication to the craft earned her multiple accolades in the sports and entertainment juggernaut.

Carmella qualified for the Elimination Chamber this week on RAW. The former Money in the Bank winner bested Piper Niven, Michin (Mia Yim) and Candie LeRae in a fatal-four way match on the red brand this week.

Carmella was interviewed by Cathy Kelly backstage after her win. Mella was asked about the gear she wore to the ring last night on WWE RAW. Carmella revealed her in-ring gear was inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Lita.

“Okay, so, this (gear) is totally inspired by Lita. I always try to have inspiration with my gear. Coming back, it’s my first match in seven months and I had to look the part honey, and she (Lita) was my inspiration. I was hoping she’d get to see it, and she loved it.”

For those wondering, Lita appeared in the main event of RAW last night to help Becky Lynch against Damage CTRL inside a steel cage. WWE have huge plans for the Hall of Famer as well. You can read more about the plans here.

Edge made his triumphant return from retirement at the 2020 Royal Rumble premium live event. He had an excellent feud with Randy Orton that culminated at WrestleMania Backlash the same year. Edge formed The Judgment Day in 2022, but was kicked out of the group in June. The storyline also prompted the televised return of Beth Phoenix.

The husband and wife duo made their surprise return at the 2023 Royal Rumble premium live event. Edge entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He eliminated Damian Priest and Finn Balor before Dominik took him out. Beth Phoenix showed up to take out Rhea Ripley as well.

Both Edge and Beth appeared on the next episode of RAW to continue the storyline. A fan caught Edge copping a feel on his wife during the angle that transpired on the January 30, 2023, edition of the red brand. Edge tried the same move this week on RAW as well. However, this time the Rated R Superstar was scolded by Beth.

Edge and Beth Phoenix will team up to take on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in the Rated R Superstar’s home country of Canada next week. You can check out the updated line-up for the February 18th PLE here.

Eddie Kingston was already a big name on the independent circuit when he showed up to confront Cody Rhodes on the July 22, 2020, episode of AEW Dynamite. The Mad King also had an incredible feud with Chris Jericho as well.

Speaking of Chris Jericho, The Wizard recently concluded the 2023 instalment of his Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Cruise. The cruise traveled from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas between February 2nd and 6th.

Chris Jericho teamed up with Danhausen in a tag team match against The Gunns (Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) on the cruise as well. Jericho wrestled the match as “Jerichohausen.” You can read more about it here.

The cruise featured wrestling and musical appearances from both AEW stars and independent performers. Fans in attendance were entertained by musical performances from stars including Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston, who sang Adele’s “Hello” at karaoke.

The footage shows Kingston entertaining the crowd with his own rendition of the iconic song. It is safe to say that Kingston’s character on AEW television is a lot different from his calm and laid back demeanor in real life.

Sonya Deville recently squared off against Liv Morgan and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match for The Queen’s SmackDown Women’s Championship at WWE live event in Pensacola tonight.

The match was stopped after Sonya Deville suffered a nasty cut. The SmackDown star was escorted to the back by WWE attendants. Thankfully, the injury wasn’t serious and was treated with stitches.

Sonya Deville took to Instagram after the live event to show her nasty scar. The WWE superstar revealed that she needed seven stitches on the wound. You can check out her Instagram Story here.

For those wondering, Sonya Deville has been involved in a title program with Charlotte Flair on televised and non-televised for some time now. She unsuccessfully challenged Charlotte for the title this past Friday on the blue.

Wes Lee put his North American Championship on the line against Dijak at Vengeance Day tonight. The two men gave their everything in a match that contained some incredible spots. Dijak went all-out in his bid to win his first singles title in WWE. He even dislocated his middle finger during the match.

The graphic image made rounds on the internet after the match. Dijak took to Twitter after the match to let the fans know how he felt about the nasty injury. The former T-Bar posted a picture of him showing the bird to the camera.

Dijak was known as Dominik Dijakovic in Triple H’s version of NXT. Vince McMahon called him up to the main roster and repackaged him as T-Bar. The big man floundered on WWE RAW as part of Retribution until Triple H became WWE’s head booker. The Game sent T-Bar back to NXT, where he got repackaged as Dijak.

Dijak squared off against Wes Lee for the NXT North American Championship in the opening match of Vengeance Day tonight. The two men put on a great show for the fans in attendance and at home watching. The match contained plenty of action. The contest was so physical that Dijak suffered a nasty injury.

The big man dislocated his finger during the match. The graphic image made its way to social media and the NXT Universe debated whether or not Dijak should’ve gone all out during the match. For those wondering about the result of the match, Wes Lee retained his title over Dijak.
