Recently, a video of an unmasked Rey Mysterio found its way to social media. In the clip, Rey is seen rejecting fan request for autograph. The former World Heavyweight Champion tells them he cannot sign stuff without WWE’s approval.

The stuff in question is, in fact, merchandise taped to a board. This appears to indicate that their intention might be to profit off of Rey’s autograph. For those wondering, the whole interaction was uploaded to TikTok.
Wrestlers are not obliged to entertain fan request. Superstars the likes of Rey Mysterio have spent years destroying their body for fan entertainment. They are still going all out to this day. That being said, Mysterio agreed to sign one thing for a fan, but he didn’t sign a load of items to be sold for profit.
