Kevin Owens Knocked Off CM Punk T-Shirts Backstage on 4/12 WWE SmackDown

The first episode of Friday Night SmackDown after WrestleMania 40 kicked off to an exhilarating start with jammed-packed in-ring action, mysterious messages, and some unnoticed shenanigans that also went down backstage.

Right before the start of the main event that pitted AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, and Kevin Owens in a triple-threat bout with high stakes involved, an interesting development took place backstage as KO was about to make his way to the ring.

The Prizefighter was being interviewed by Byron Saxton, but he decided to cut it short and explore the new camera angles used by WWE. Kevin Owens started walking towards ringside and stopped by a desk to grab a custom Championship belt to carry with him.

Interestingly at that moment, many did not notice but Kevin Owens shoved a stack of CM Punk T-shirts off the desk which looked like a deliberate move.

Of course, hardcore wrestling fans are well aware of the storied past and heated tensions between Punk and Owens dating back to their days in Ring of Honor in the mid-2000s. With CM Punk currently on the sidelines, it seems WWE has secretly planted the seeds for a future feud between him and KO once he recovers from his triceps injury.
