Naomi is a true veteran in WWE’s women division with many accolades under her belt, such as the SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, she hasn’t been in WWE since May 2022. Naomi and Sasha Banks made headlines when they infamously walked out after disagreement with WWE creative and their plans for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Sasha has since moved on to NJPW making her debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 as Mercedes Mone. Naomi on the other hand seems to be trying her hand at modeling.
The former Women’s Tag Team Champion appears to be having a good time away from the ring. Earlier this month she was spotted in Japan to support former tag team partner Sasha Banks’ debut as Mercedes Mone at Wrestle Kingdom 17.
During her break from wrestling, Naomi has been doing a lot of modeling. She took to Twitter to reveal a brand new look to followers.
The photoshoot was for the L’Officiel Baltic Sports Edition. Naomi was featured in an assortment of eccentric ensembles.
As for her WWE status, there have been a lot of varying reports. Although she hasn’t given much clarification, she recently shut down a false report about her contract.
It remains to be seen what becomes of her career in WWE. Earlier it was reported that Sasha has been listed as a WWE alumnus whereas Naomi was not. So we still have our fingers crossed about Naomi’s return to WWE. For more updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
