WWE RAW took place on June 9, 2025, at the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. They also made their way toward crowning a new Queen of the Ring.

This week on WWE RAW, the Queen of the Ring tournament began with a qualifier match between Liv Morgan, Kairi Sane, Roxanne Perez, and Rhea Ripley. The match determined who would move forward in the tournament bracket.

The Queen of the Ring tournament will continue in the coming weeks. The finals are set to take place on June 28, 2025, during WWE Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This qualifying match went on as the first hour of the show wrapped up. WWE revealed the brackets, and there are some seriously interesting possibilities.

This match stretched through a commercial break, and it featured some serious action. Each Superstar had a chance to steal the spotlight as Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez worked together to take out their opponents. That was the general story, as they took out Rhea Ripley.

Then Ripley was able to double powerbomb Morgan and Perez before Sane took her out with a flying forearm from the top for a near fall. This was a fierce battle and fans watched on to see who would pull off the win.

Rhea Ripley was able to come back and rally. She nailed a few moves around the ring to take everyone out. She even blocked an Oblivion from Liv Morgan as she hit a Rip Tide, but Raquel Rodriguez pulled her off the cover. In the end, Roxanne Perez was able to pin Kairi Sane after she hit Liv with an Insane Elbow. Now, Perez will move on in the tournament’s semifinals.

The 2025 King of the Ring and Queen of the Ring tournaments will end at the Night of Champions event on June 28, 2025. The event will take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Queen of the Ring will have a big opportunity this year. Only time will tell who pulls down the crown, but we will be here with all the updates you need here at Ringside News.

The May 19 episode of WWE RAW took place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The show continued the lead-up to the upcoming Money in the Bank event.

On the May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, Alexa Bliss secured the first spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank match. More qualifying matches were held on RAW to fill the remaining spots. The red brand will start their men’s qualifying matches next week.

The first women’s qualifier of the night saw Roxanne Perez vs. Natalya vs. Becky Lynch. This match was a fierce one, and it spanned through a commercial break.

Roxanne Perez was looking to make a big statement after getting called up to the RAW brand. Naturally, Becky Lynch and Natalya were willing to do anything to stop The Prodigy. She even kicked out of Lynch’s Manhandle Slam.

Roxanne Perez almost had the win with a Pop Rocks on Natalya and a German Suplex on Becky Lynch, but The Man was able to break up the pinfall. These three put each other to the test this week, but there could only be one winner to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank match.

The match included a double Sharpshooter by Natalya, but that didn’t get her the win. Lyra Valkyria showed up to fight Becky Lynch at ringside to distract her. That allowed Roxanne Perez to nail a Pop Rocks on Natalya to win the match and clinch her spot at Money in the Bank.

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is set for Saturday, June 7, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. This will also be the 16th installment in the Money in the Bank saga of premium live events. Only time will tell what WWE does to get fans talking.
