GUNTHER Boldly Declares He's the Greatest Intercontinental Champion Ever

Back in 2023, GUNTHER broke Honky Tonk Man’s record by holding the WWE Intercontinental Championship for nearly 600 days. Now, GUNTHER has reached even greater heights.

On last night’s episode of Raw, GUNTHER defended the Intercontinental Championship against the New Day’s Kofi Kingston. While the WWE star did acknowledge his opponent’s tenacity, he made one thing very clear.

“Listen to this. Kofi fought hard, Kofi fought with courage. Only issue is, nobody’s perfect, but I’m damn close. I will forever be the greatest and longest-reigning Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion of all time.”

Last week, GUNTHER was talking about the possibility of winning the 37th Royal Rumble, and becoming a double champion. Unfortunately, he was eliminated by Cody Rhodes.

That being said, GUNTHER has proven his mettle once again by defending his Intercontinental Championship. It seems that his pride in himself is not entirely unjustified. Check out his comments below.

Grayson Waller’s Homecoming Celebrations In Australia Disrupted By LA Knight

Grayson Waller's Homecoming Celebrations In Australia Disrupted By LA Knight

Grayson Waller recently made his way to Perth, Australia, which is his place of origin. As he enjoyed his return to Australia and celebrated it during some sightseeing, LA Knight found a subtle but effective way to spoil his return. Even though he has spoken about his WWE reactions going down at some point, it seems he has the creative gusto to keep his game up.

Waller took to X (Twitter) and shared a video of himself from Sydney, New South Wales. He spoke about how the American winter affected him, but now he is back in Sydney. He added that he couldn’t be happier being back, but Knight had already deployed himself to ruin the video, unbeknownst to him.

“It’s been a tough few months having to go through the American winter, but I’m finally home. I am here in Sydney, and I legit couldn’t be happier. This is as good as it gets.”

Knight and Weller’s presence in Australia coincides with the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber PPV, which is set to take place on February 24 in Perth, Australia. This would be the first time the PPV event would occur in Australia.

Both Waller and Knight have remained opponents to each other for a long time, having first locked their horns in their WWE NXT days. They both went against each other in a Last Man Standing match as well as a WarGames match. Moreover, they also faced off against each other later in WWE SmackDown.

Currently, Knight is set to appear in an upcoming fatal four-way match with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. He will be taking on WWE superstars AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns. Grayson Waller, on the other hand, made headlines for trolling Shawn Michaels.

How do you feel about LA Knight’s creative way of spoiling Grayson Waller’s return to Australia? Let us know in the comments.
