Nia Jax confronted Bayley backstage during RAW this week. That led to a match later on. However, Bayley had quite an enemy at ringside.
Former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez was at ringside. She talked some trash to Bayley, and she was a distraction. Then Perez and Bayley had some words and Roxanne was kicked out of the building by security.
We will have to see what’s next for Bayley and Roxanne Perez. At this point, it seems that anything is on the table, especially with the Royal Rumble within sight.
Roxanne Perez isn’t backing down from Bayley—in fact, she’s calling her out. The NXT star showed up in the crowd during the January 17 episode of SmackDown, watching closely as Bayley took on WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. This came just days after the two brawled on the January 14 edition of WWE NXT.
In a SmackDown digital exclusive, Perez didn’t hold back when asked why she was there. “Everyone knows that I’m such a huge, huge fan of Bayley, so I was just so excited to come out here and have a front-row seat to watch her fail miserably, which she did.”
She then flipped the script, inviting Bayley to show up on NXT again for the January 21 episode. But instead of just throwing out a challenge, Perez took things a step further, questioning whether Bayley even has what it takes anymore.
“I always thought that I was the big fan, but it seems like she’s actually mine since she wants to show up at my show and stick her nose in my business. So yeah, Bayley. Come on down. Come back and maybe this time around, I can give you some notes on how to be a champion since I don’t think you got it anymore.”
Roxanne Perez just put Bayley on blast, and now the ball is in The Role Model’s court. If Bayley shows up on NXT, things could get messy fast, but if she stays quiet, Perez might just have a point. Either way, this feud isn’t cooling down anytime soon.
WWE brought another episode of NXT for their January 14 episode. This included many reasons for fans to tune into the CW, and Roxanne Perez didn’t miss the show.
Roxanne Perez is a former NXT Women’s Champion, but she is no longer holding the title. Giulia is now the NXT Women’s Champion after pulling down the title during the brand’s New Year’s Evil special.
This segment was the final of the night. Just as Roxanne Perez was shown backstage walking to the ring, a mysterious person arrived in the parking lot. The Prodigy took the ring, and she was ready to address the NXT Universe.
She discussed winning the NXT Women’s Title for 276 days, with 9 title defenses. The NXT Women’s Division continued to rise during that time, and she received some cheers from the crowd for making women’s wrestling special. She helped make the NXT Women’s Division something that they can be proud of.
As Perez declared that this is the best women’s division in pro wrestling today, she admitted that she no longer has her title. She said that the NXT Women’s Division will be lost without her, and the fans don’t deserve her.
Suddenly, Roxanne Perez’s promo was interrupted by Bayley. This was a big surprise that brought a giant pop from fans in the NXT Arena. After some “welcome back” chants from fans, Bayley admitted that she had to come out to address the crossroads in Roxanne Perez’s career.
Bayley told Perez that the NXT Women’s Division will be fine without her. Perez told Bayley that she’s just like everyone that she used to look up to, and she questioned why Bayley was even there, because Bayley set the records that she broke. Then, Perez said she could be Bayley’s role model.
Suddenly, as Bayley announced that she is going to win the WWE Women’s Tile on SmackDown against Tiffany Stratton, the show cut off. This is not the first time that NXT has cut off early since landing on The CW, as they’ve had a lot of problems with the network’s time constraints, since they cut to local news at 10 PM EST every week night.
What a lot of fans didn’t see was Roxanne Perez slapping Bayley, which caused the former Hugger to take Perez down to start a brawl. That is how the show cut off for some fans, but a majority of them did not see the ending live.

The claws are out as the women of WWE NXT heat up social media ahead of NXT Deadline on December 7. The November 19 edition of NXT promises to be a newsworthy edition of the show as the company prepares for their next premium live event, NXT Deadline, on December 7. That being said, the champion is taking some much-deserved time off this week.
Roxanne Perez made it very clear that she won’t be around for NXT this week. The NXT Women’s Champion is on vacation, and she doesn’t seem mad about missing time from work at all. In fact, she used it to generate even more heat for herself online. In the video, Roxanne taunted everyone who is trying to get in the Iron Survivor Challenge while hanging out at the beach, and then Sol Ruca showed up to catch some waves and remind her that she will see her at Deadline.
Perez logged onto X, and she posted a video of herself on vacation. Her caption also made it clear that she is only thinking about herself with this move, which was a great heel way to take some time off from television.
“Champ’s on vacation, but of course there’s fans everywhere. Anyway, happy #TuesdayNightRox to me and only me.”
Although Roxanne Perez is great at getting heat, she also thrived as a babyface champion. It will be interesting to see how long she keeps up her heel antics, but CM Punk has nothing but great things to say about what she does in the ring.
CM Punk has become a mentor to Roxanne Perez. At this point, we’re starting to see how that knowledge is paying off, because this video drop from Perez worked like a charm to make her presence known on NXT without even showing up. It also wouldn’t be a surprise to see Shawn Michaels air this video during the show this week.
Roxanne Perez’s next challenger for her NXT Women’s Title is yet to be determined at this point. They are having a Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at Deadline, and Sol Ruca is the only person who has qualified for that yet. Only time will tell if Perez will defend her title at the December 7 premium live event.
Champ’s on vacation but of course there’s fans everywhere.
Roxane Perez has been the NXT Women’s Champion for a long time and her current partnership with Cora Jade has been nothing short of excellent on NXT television. That’s why it comes as no surprise both of them mocked fans for their body odor during a recent NXT live event.
Roxane Perez and Cora Jade have been teaming up together ever since Jade returned during the October 1 edition of NXT. They have feuded with the likes of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer and continue to be highlights of NXT television.
During the most recent NXT live event at the Dade City Armory in Dade City, Florida, Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade decided to have fun at the crowd’s expense as they brought deodorant for fans. Just as Jade was about to give one to a fan, Perez stated that fans didn’t deserve it and rather, Stephanie Vaquer deserved it and she added that Vaquer smelled better than fans and accomplished more as well.
“Wait, we brought gifts for the fans, oh my god. Look at what we got you guys, we got you deodorants! But you know what, I’ll give it to Stephanie though she smells way better than all of you guys and I think she’s accomplished more than all of you guys.”
Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia have also proclaimed to have surpassed Roxanne Perez already. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see how Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade will continue to be booked in the coming weeks, as fans are invested in whatever they do.

WWE NXT’s women’s division is growing fast with new talent. Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Zaria are shaking things up. Jordynne Grace might also join the roster soon. Competition is heating up in the division in a big way at this point as well. Madusa, who was known as Alundra Blayze during her WWE tenure, shared … Read more
Roxane Perez has been the NXT Women’s Champion for a long time and she owes her great success to Shawn Michaels for good reason. That’s why it’s no surprise that she recreated Shawn Michaels’ iconic ”I Kicked Stan” segment recently.
While Shawn Spears was in WWE’s developmental system, he appeared as an extra in the memorable “I just kicked Stan” segment at WWE Cyber Sunday 2006, playing a production worker. In the segment, Shawn Michaels asked Spears what his name was before superkicking him and then Michaels told Triple H, “I just kicked Stan.”
As seen during the November 6th edition of NXT, Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, and Zaria squared off against Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Jazmyn Nyx in tag team action. Zaria would ultimately pin Perez to win the match, much to Perez’s shock.
WWE took to their official Twitter account and uploaded a video of Roxanne Perez following her loss. Perez was hysterical and suddenly, she spotted Robert Stone. After asking him her name, she ended up superkicking him before telling Cora Jade, “I just kicked Stone!,” in a wonderful callback to Shawn Michaels’ moment.
We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Roxanne Perez and Zaria’s feud in the coming weeks, but fans are always appreciative of the fact that WWE does callbacks like this from time to time and it’s not hard to see why.
Roxanne Perez is making waves in the NXT women’s division, where she’s embraced a leadership role among a fresh influx of top-tier talent. The division, which helped redefine women’s wrestling in North America a decade ago with stars like Bayley, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair (known as the Four Horsewomen), is once again … Read more
