Tala Tonga Officially Introduced as New Member of Solo Sikoa’s MFT on WWE SmackDown

Tala Tonga Officially Introduced as New Member of Solo Sikoa’s MFT on WWE SmackDown

The family just got bigger. On the July 4th episode of WWE SmackDown, Solo Sikoa made it official—Tala Tonga is now part of his MFT, which stands for My Family Tree. The announcement came just weeks after Tala’s main roster debut at WWE Night of Champions, where he attacked Jacob Fatu and helped Solo capture the United States Championship.

Tala, formerly known as Hikuleo in NJPW, made an immediate impact when he showed up at Night of Champions, making it clear that his loyalty lies with Solo Sikoa and not the wider Anoa’i family drama.

The same night Tala made his debut, his brother Tonga Loa also returned from injury, marking his first appearance since WWE Survivor Series 2024.

With Tala Tonga now officially part of MFT, the group includes Solo Sikoa, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and Tama Tonga, who remains out with an injury. The faction continues to grow as Solo builds his own version of family dominance on SmackDown, separate from Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.

Love them or hate them, the MFT isn’t going anywhere—and with Solo pulling the strings, it’s only getting more dangerous.

Hikuleo Debuts To Help Solo Sikoa Win United States Title At WWE Night of Champions 2025

Hikuleo Debuts To Help Solo Sikoa Win United States Title At WWE Night of Champions 2025

It finally happened — after nearly a year of waiting, Hikuleo has officially made his WWE debut, and it couldn’t have come at a more chaotic time for The Bloodline.

During the June 28th Night of Champions Premium Live Event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu went to war for the United States Championship. The personal feud has been brewing for months, ever since Fatu turned his back on Sikoa, and tonight the bad blood boiled over.

The match got physical from the opening bell. Sikoa started strong, but Fatu fought back, landing a brutal German Suplex that Sikoa shook off to return the favor with one of his own. Things escalated fast when JC Mateo tried to interfere, only for Tanga Loa to show up and lend a hand to Solo.

That’s when things really exploded. Tama Tonga and his brother Hikuleo stormed the ring, destroying Jacob Fatu at ringside. Their interference allowed Solo Sikoa to secure the win and capture the United States Championship — adding more fuel to the ongoing Bloodline civil war.

Hikuleo’s arrival has been a long time coming. The 6’8” powerhouse signed with WWE back in 2024 after an impressive run in New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he built a reputation as a dangerous enforcer. As the younger brother of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, Hikuleo’s roots in the Anoa’i family tree run deep — making him the perfect addition to Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline.

The timing couldn’t have been better. With the Bloodline storyline heating up again, adding another dominant family member raises the stakes and shifts the power dynamic in Solo’s favor.

What do you think — did WWE wait too long to pull the trigger on Hikuleo, or was this the perfect debut? Drop your thoughts in the comments.

New Bloodline Member Hikuleo Finally Makes WWE Debut Before SmackDown Goes Live

New Bloodline Member Hikuleo Finally Makes WWE Debut Before SmackDown Goes Live

The Bloodline just got a little bigger—officially.

After a full year of silence, Hikuleo has finally stepped inside a WWE ring. The younger brother of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa—both of whom joined Solo Sikoa’s reformed version of The Bloodline in 2024—quietly made his debut before the June 13, 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown even went on the air.

Hikuleo’s signing was first reported shortly after Tama and Loa joined WWE, with sources confirming he had also left New Japan Pro Wrestling and signed with WWE. But for the last year, he’s remained off television, fueling constant speculation about when—or if—he would debut.

That speculation peaked this week after reports surfaced that Hikuleo was backstage for SmackDown in Lexington, Kentucky. Fans online immediately began wondering if he would show up on the live broadcast.

But WWE pulled the trigger early. Hikuleo officially wrestled his first match for the company in a dark match taped for WWE Main Event, taking on Pretty Deadly’s Kit Wilson. While details of the match haven’t been aired yet, his presence alone was enough to send fans into a frenzy inside the arena.

The debut brings a new layer to the Bloodline’s dominance, especially with Solo Sikoa continuing to reshape the family legacy without Roman Reigns at the helm.

Is Hikuleo going to be the X-factor in the next chapter of The Bloodline? Or should WWE have saved his first appearance for a bigger spotlight? Drop your thoughts in the comments and tell us how you’d book his next move.
