Sean Waltman is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer who still has the desire to wrestle before hanging up his boots for good. Sami Zayn wanted to wrestle Waltman at SummerSlam two years ago, but WWE said no.
On the anniversary of King of Trios Night 3 where El Generico and Waltman tore it up, Zayn had an admission. He requested a match with X-Pac, but it didn’t happen.
I asked if I could wrestle him at Summerslam two years ago. @TheRealXPac, that is. Not the other guy.
Waltman and Zayn could have created an amazing memory at SummerSlam. There is still time if WWE wants to circle back around to that idea, because we’d be all for it.
