The July 11 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and it was certainly Tiffy Time. The WWE Women’s Champion was on hand for the big show in Tennessee, and she made quite an impression as always.

Tiffany Stratton is set to face Trish Stratus at WWE Evolution with her Women’s Title on the line. The second WWE Evolution will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Trish Stratus was one of the few Superstars who will be on this Evolution that worked the 2018 event.

Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton didn’t receive any introductions this week on SmackDown as Wade Barrett interviewed them in the ring. Stratton said it’s obvious why she picked Trish Stratus as her opponent, because she’s already beaten so many top female Superstars. Stratton then said that maybe she will be considered one of the GOATS if she beats the WWE Hall of Famer.

Trish Stratus was asked about how she feels going into Evolution. Stratus said that Tiffany is the one who needs to be feeling the pressure. She also promised to win at Evolution, leave with the championship, and then Tiffany Stratton will have nothing. She also promised to deliver Stratusfaction.

Tiffany Stratus took a shot at Trish Stratus’ accomplishments on VHS tape. Then Trish Stratus asked if Tiffany heard about VHS tapes on TikTok. Trish then said that she loves Tiff, but she will still become an 8-time champion at Evolution. That is when Naomi came out to remind them that she is Miss Money in the Bank before Jade Cargill came out to destroy her.

WWE officials pulled Jade Cargill and Naomi apart from each other as Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton watched on in the ring. This was quite an explosive segment for many reasons.

We will have to see what happens in the future, but Tiffany Stratton is certainly getting her fair share of high-caliber opponents. Only time will tell how far her star will rise and what her resume looks like when an eventual WWE Hall of Fame induction comes along.

The July 11 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Since the city took place in a city known for music, it only made sense that some big names were in the crowd.

Jelly Roll has made it clear that he is a massive WWE fan. The music heavyweight was on hand for SmackDown this week, and he received a warm welcome from the WWE Universe.

WWE SmackDown kicked off with Jelly Roll backstage. He had a nice segment with Randy Orton, and it was also very good to see Jelly Roll in great spirits and looking good as well. This appearance for Jelly Roll wasn’t just about saying hello to the crowd, because he also had an appearance in store.

During the show’s second hour, right after the Wyatt Sicks won the WWE Tag Team Titles, the crew started construction on the set for Jelly Roll’s performance. He sang Liar as he made his way to the ring, with fans singing along and his band playing along.

Suddenly, during the first chorus, Logan Paul interrupted him. They also showed Bunny, Jelly Roll’s wife, as she looked on. Paul threw shade at Jelly Roll not having custody of his kids, even though he has tattoos of them. Jelly Roll actually does have custody of his kids, but it was a messy legal battle. Then The Maverick said that Jelly Roll doesn’t deserve in a WWE ring, because he’s just a disgusting clout-chaser.

The Nashville fans booed Logan Paul, but he doesn’t care. He said that WWE doesn’t need Jelly Roll, they need Logan Paul. Jelly Roll got in Logan Paul’s face as Randy Orton’s voice could be heard saying, “outsider? Outsider? You’ve got the balls to call that man an outsider in his own freaking town! That man is one of the biggest names in the music industry in his hometown, if anyone’s an outsider, then it’s you!”

Randy Orton got in Logan Paul’s face next, but then Drew McIntyre blind sided him with a Claymore Kick outta nowhere. Logan Paul got down on Randy Orton next, but Jelly Roll ripped Paul off and threw him to the mat. Fans chanted for Jelly Roll as WWE officials pulled Paul off the ring apron. After that, Logan Paul destroyed Jelly Roll’s band’s equipment. This was quite an appearance for Jelly Roll on SmackDown.

We will have to see what Jelly Roll does next in WWE. Even if his appearances with the company stops with this one, it is obvious that he is welcomed back, and he had a great time on SmackDown this week as well.

Wyatt Sicks Win WWE Tag Team Titles During 7/11 SmackDown

The July 11 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, and fans in the building witnessed history with a title change.

The Wyatt Sicks were bred from Bray Wyatt’s imagination, but sadly he didn’t live to see the faction take life. Now, he is smiling from above as the faction is now WWE Tag Team Champions.

The Street Profits defended their tag team titles against the Wyatt Sicks as the show closed out its second hour this week. Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis were the two Wyatt Sick representatives for the stable for this match.

Nikki Cross and Uncle Howdy watched on from the entrance ramp as this match carried on. It was quite a showcase for everyone involved, and fans were eating out of the palms of their hands. The energy in the ring was big-time, and it was only the half-way point of the show.

Erick Rowan was able to get involved as Joe Gacy distracted the referee, but then Montez Ford sent Rowan into the timekeeper’s area. Montez missed a splash after that and then they nailed a double team on Ford to win the titles.

We will have to see what the future holds for the tag team division. Things are certainly going to be different at the top on SmackDown for some time to come.

The current NXT Women’s North American Champion is also the Women’s WWE Speed Champion. She was on the show this week to show everyone what she had. Charlotte Flair was also at ringside, and she seemed impressed with Ruca’s talent.

Sol Ruca took on Alexa Bliss, Kairi Sane and Roxanne Perez in a four-way match this week on SmackDown during the show’s first hour. This was a back-and-forth match, and it spanned a commercial break as well. Everyone had a chance to shine in this match as well.

At one point, Sol Ruca nailed a double Soul Snatcher, but Raquel Rodriguez was able to break up the pin. Then Zaria got involved and they had a bit of a brawl that involved Charlotte Flair in the end.

Fred Durst Spotted In Crowd During 7/11 WWE SmackDown

The July 11 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. That city is known for music, and a metal legend was on hand this week.

Swerve Strickland Destroys Young Bucks' Limo During 7/9 AEW Dynamite

The July 9 episode of AEW Dynamite included a lot of things that set the stage for All In: Texas this weekend. That included a closing segment with a bit of destruction.

Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay will take on The Young Bucks at All In: Texas. That being said, Swerve wanted to make sure that the Bucks are plenty prepared for their match, but he didn’t want them getting there in a limo.

During the closing segment of AEW Dynamite this week, Swerve Strickland appeared outside, where he had the controls of some construction equipment. Strickland then used that equipment to destroy the Young Bucks’ limo.

This segment was obviously pre-taped, because it was still light outside. Since this was the closing segment at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, odds are it was really lights out since it was 9:00 PM local time. Still, they were able to close out Dynamite this week with a bang.

We will have to see what happens in the future to promote All In: Texas. AEW is certainly running out of time at this point, but they are certainly going with some new momentum at this point.

AEW fans are giving Mercedes Mone a lot of grief, and she gave them one more reason to do so. After cutting a tense back-and-forth promo with Toni Storm before their All In Women’s World Title match, Mone messed up a big piece of the promo.

Mercedes Mone said “this Sunday” at All In, when she meant to say Saturday. She corrected it immediately, but fans caught it and didn’t let her carry on without a huge “you f*cked up” chant. It was brutal.

After that, Toni Storm got the best of Mercedes Mone, as she told her to “eat sh*t, b*tch,” and she drove her out of the ring. The fans during Dynamite this week was not giving Mercedes Mone any slack at all.

Mercedes Mone currently holds six titles across the pro wrestling world. She wants to add another big one to that collection at All In. Toni Storm made it clear to her that she thinks Mone deserves titles, just not the AEW Women’s World Title.
