Cody Rhodes Returns to WWE and Saves Jey Uso From John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Cody Rhodes Returns to WWE and Saves Jey Uso From John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Cody Rhodes is officially back, and he didn’t waste time making his presence felt.

The WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special on May 24 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida featured Jey Uso defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Logan Paul in the night’s main event—but the real shocker came when Cody Rhodes made his surprise return to WWE television.

As the match neared its climax, the referee was pulled from the ring by John Cena, who then ambushed Jey Uso with a beatdown in the middle of the ring. Just as Cena and Logan Paul looked to steal the win, Cody’s music hit to a thunderous reaction. Rhodes stormed the ring, hit Cena with a Crossroads, and tossed him out, clearing the way for Jey Uso to nail a spear and frog splash on Logan Paul for the win.

This was Cody’s first appearance since WrestleMania 41, where he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cena. After the match, Rhodes grabbed a mic and made his message crystal clear: “John, Logan… we’ll see you at Money in the Bank.” He then confirmed that he and Jey Uso would team up at the June 7 Premium Live Event in Los Angeles.

Cody’s return was long expected. WWE sources had already indicated that Rhodes would be back before Money in the Bank and would once again be a central figure on WWE television all summer long. With his return now official, and a new feud forming with Cena and Logan Paul, the American Nightmare’s next chapter is off to a fiery start.

Are you ready to see Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso team up against John Cena and Logan Paul? And should Cody still be chasing the Undisputed Title he lost? Sound off in the comments—we want to hear your thoughts.

Damian Priest Delivers Vicious Conchairto to Defeat Drew McIntyre in Steel Cage Match at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Damian Priest Delivers Vicious Conchairto to Defeat Drew McIntyre in Steel Cage Match at Saturday Night's Main Event

Damian Priest just made his biggest statement yet—and he did it by walking out of a steel cage after leaving Drew McIntyre destroyed.

The May 24 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida delivered some wild action, but nothing hit harder than the steel cage match between Priest and McIntyre. With Jesse “The Body” Ventura joining commentary, the match already felt bigger than your average brawl—and then they tore the house down.

Right after John Cena retained the Undisputed WWE Title against R-Truth, Priest and McIntyre entered the unforgiving cage. Priest made McIntyre eat steel early, lawn-darting him face-first into the structure as the match spilled through a commercial break.

After the break, McIntyre nearly turned the tide with a massive superplex from the top of the cage, followed by a Claymore Kick for a near fall. He brought in a chair and started unloading on Priest—but it wasn’t enough.

When Drew went for a chair-assisted kick in the corner, Priest dodged it and immediately went for the throat—literally. Priest drilled Drew in the neck with a chair, then planted him with a chokeslam. But he wasn’t done.

In the match’s sickest moment, Priest laid Drew’s head on a chair and then smashed it with another chair in a vicious Con-Chair-To. That was all it took. Priest calmly walked out the cage door, his feet hitting the floor as the referee called the match.

Damian Priest wins, and in the most savage way possible.

R-Truth Cosplays As John Cena For Title Match During Saturday Night’s Main Event

R-Truth Cosplays As John Cena For Title Match During Saturday Night's Main Event

R-Truth went full Cena mode at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event—but the real John Cena made sure the tribute didn’t end in a win.

The May 24 show from Tampa’s Yuengling Center saw Truth challenge Cena for the Undisputed WWE World Championship, and he made quite the entrance. Truth came out to John Cena’s own music, decked out like the 17-time world champion himself, channeling the same energy that’s made Cena a polarizing figure during his retirement tour.

But the fun didn’t last long. As Truth made his entrance, Cena jumped him from behind, blindsiding him before the bell. The heel move got plenty of boos, but it set the tone for what turned out to be a gritty, dramatic title bout.

Truth somehow fired back during the match, running through Cena’s five moves of doom and even landing an Attitude Adjustment for a near fall that had the crowd losing it. Then came the STF—Truth locked it in tight, nearly submitting the champ in what could’ve been a career-changing moment.

Cena escaped, and things took a darker turn. The champ grabbed his title, hesitated, and then offered a handshake to Truth. As the referee turned away to place the belt outside the ring, Cena showed his true colors—nailing Truth with a low blow, then hitting an AA for the win.

Cena’s heel run during his retirement tour is getting nastier by the week, and Truth just became the latest example of that. Fans were clearly rooting for the longtime fan favorite, but Cena played it dirty once again.

Was R-Truth robbed of his big moment—or was Cena just doing whatever it takes to stay champion? Drop your thoughts in the comments—we want to know what side you’re on.

Chelsea Green Busted Open in Violent Loss to Zelina Vega at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Zelina Vega walked into WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event with the WWE Women’s United States Championship—and she left with it still in her hands after a blood-soaked war with Chelsea Green.

The May 24 showdown at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida was physical from the start, with both women laying into each other as the crowd roared for Vega. But things took a serious turn late in the match when Chelsea Green was busted open. Her nose was visibly bleeding as she continued to fight, refusing to slow down despite the injury.

The crowd rallied behind Vega as the match spilled through a commercial break. After a hard-fought battle, the end came when the champ climbed up top with Green and hit a devastating Code Red from the top rope for the pinfall victory.

After the match, medics rushed in to check on Chelsea, whose nose appeared badly damaged with blood streaked across her face. “She looked like she was in real pain,” one fan in attendance told Ringside News. Green was helped to the back while Vega celebrated with her title.

Chelsea Green has been gunning for revenge ever since losing the title to Vega, teaming up with The Secret Hervice in hopes of reclaiming her spot. But now, it looks like she may need some time to heal before taking another shot.

Wyatt Sicks Return to WWE on SmackDown and Wreak Havoc in Main Event

Wyatt Sicks Return to WWE on SmackDown and Wreak Havoc in Main Event

After months of silence, the Wyatt Sicks finally made their return—and they did it with chaos. The May 23, 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown, live from the EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia, ended in total destruction after the lights went out and the faction reappeared for the first time in over five months.

As the Street Profits defended the WWE Tag Team Titles against Fraxiom in the night’s main event, the action was suddenly interrupted when the entire arena went dark. When the lights came back on, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Uncle Howdy were standing in the ring. Within seconds, they unleashed a violent beatdown on everyone in sight—laying waste to the champions, challengers, and anything that moved.

The faction stood tall under the spotlight as darkness returned to the ring, closing out the broadcast with a chilling reminder: the Wyatt Sicks are back.

This return wasn’t entirely unexpected. A source within WWE Creative recently said that the group was coming back to SmackDown “sooner than you think. Bo Dallas, who had been sidelined with an injury, has already been cleared for action. Even though they weren’t added to live event tours, WWE was keeping them strictly for television—and now we know why.

Speculation ran wild for months that the Wyatt Sicks might return with Alexa Bliss, but that was quickly debunked once Bliss returned on her own and entered the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder qualifying match. With the group now confirmed to be back in action, WWE’s blue brand just got a whole lot darker.

Is this the beginning of something even bigger for the Wyatt Sicks on SmackDown? And what does their return mean for the rest of the roster? Drop your thoughts in the comments—who should step up to face them first?

LA Knight Wins Men's Money in the Bank Qualifying Match During 5/23 WWE SmackDown

The May 23 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. Money in the Bank was thick in the air, and that included qualifying matches.

This week’s SmackDown featured a Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match. The participants were Aleister Black, LA Knight, and Shinsuke Nakamura. The winner would move one step closer to earning a spot in the ladder match.

This match kicked off the show’s third hour, and fans were more than ready to see it go down. Everyone in the contest had a chance to steal the spotlight. They also went through a commercial break.

Fans were behind Aleister Black in a big way, as they chanted for him as he fought toe-to-toe with Shinsuke Nakamura. They traded some stiff strikes, but the two soon separated.

Black caught Nakamura’s knee when he tried for a Kinsasha. Then Black landed a Black Mass on Nakamura, but LA Knight threw him out of the ring to steal the pinfall. Now, LA Knight is on his way to Money in the bank.

During the May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, we saw Solo Sikoa clinch the first spot in the Men’s Money in the Bank match. They did not hold any men’s qualifying matches on RAW this week, but they will next week.

R-Truth Compares John Cena To Lord of the Rings’ Gollum During 5/23 WWE SmackDown

R-Truth Compares John Cena To Lord of the Rings' Gollum During 5/23 WWE SmackDown

The May 23 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. Saturday Night’s Main event is going down tomorrow, and R-Truth is in the biggest match of his career.

John Cena’s attack on R-Truth after Backlash didn’t go unnoticed. It led to an Undisputed World Title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24 in Tampa. R-Truth was on hand this week during SmackDown to speak his piece.

Saturday Night’s Main Event will see John Cena and R-Truth face each other for the first time since 2011. Naturally, Ron Killings is more than ready for this match, and he had a chance to speak during the blue brand’s show this week. Truth came out at the close of the show’s second hour for his promo.

R-Truth got the crowd hyped, and then he addressed his match against John Cena. He mentioned everyone who asked him how he will handle this match. He answered by explaining that the main he will be facing tomorrow night is not the John Cena he knows. Truth said that the problem is power, because the more power and fame Cena got, the more disconnected he felt.

It was said that John Cena isolated himself with power. He compared Cena to Gollum from Lord of the Rings, saying Cena stares at his championship and calls it his precious. R-Truth said that he doesn’t know if he can bring John Cena back, but he’s going to try.

Although R-Truth misses his hero, he will still fight him tomorrow night. He concluded his promo by saying, “if Cena wins, we riot.”

R-Truth has called John Cena his childhood hero for some time now. While it started as a piece of humor at the time, that running joke seems to have erupted in a high profile match during John Cena’s farewell tour.

What’s your take on R-Truth and John Cena’s storyline? Is this an example of very long-term booking? Let us know what you think in the comments section!

WWE NXT’s Arianna Grace Loses Debut Match for TNA Wrestling At Under Siege

WWE NXT's Arianna Grace Loses Debut Match for TNA Wrestling At Under Siege

TNA Wrestling’s 2025 Under Siege pay-per-view went down at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. This was a big night for the company, and it was also very special for Arianna Grace.

NXT star Arianna Grace was appointed as the liaison between her brand and TNA Wrestling. This gave her a chance to work alongside her father, Santino Marella, but she never got into the squared circle until now. She also had a chance to have a backstage segment with Santino, where she promised “to beat Tessa’s ass.”

Before the match got started, Robert Stone showed up and announced that he is enforcing the law as the new sheriff. He said that since Santino Marella doesn’t have a manager’s license, he must be pulled from ringside, so he left.

Arianna Grace took on Tessa Blanchard at TNA Wrestling’s Under Siege event. This was a hard-hitting contest, and Grace fought bravely.

Tessa Blanchard took the early advantage in this match, and she beat Ariana Grace around ringside a bit as well. Then the action returned to the ring.

Ariana Grace was able to fight back, and she landed a superplex to gain control. Eventually, Tessa Blanchard nailed a magnum and won the match.

This was Arianna Grace’s first match in TNA Wrestling, but it’s not likely to be her last. Only time will tell what the future has in store for her. After all, she has pro wrestling in her blood as a second generation Superstar.

Cody Deaner Ends Career With Hard-Fought Loss At TNA Under Siege

Cody Deaner Ends Career With Hard-Fought Loss At TNA Under Siege

TNA Wrestling’s 2025 Under Siege pay-per-view went down at the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. This was a big night for the company, but it also meant a lot more for Cody Deaner.

During TNA Wrestling’s Under Siege pay-per-view, Cody Deaner faced Eddie Edwards of The System in a singles match with Deaner’s career on the line. The outcome of the match would determine whether Deaner could continue competing in TNA, adding significance to the contest between the two wrestlers.

Before the contest, Eric Young had a chance to give Cody Deaner some words backstage. The match went on second of the main pay-per-view. The sold out arena was ready to see the two lock horns, and Deaner also took his time to soak in the moment.

Eddie Edwards started this match out on top, as he beat Cody Deaner down a bit. Deaner sold for Edwards as he did his best to hurt and humiliate his opponent. He eventually took Deaner down to the mat to further wear him down with a submission hold.

Cody Deaner fought back, and fans were all behind him throughout his comeback. Deaner lost his advantage, but he also refused to kick out, even though Eddie Edwards hit him with some unforgiving offense.

Finally, Eddie Edwards was able to score the pinfall, ending Cody Deaner’s career. This was a big moment, and Eddie Edwards celebrated as Deaner was left looking at the lights. After that, Brian Myers and his stable made their way down to rub salt in the wound.

We will have to see how this storyline goes from here. Anything is possible in pro wrestling, but it looks like Cody Deaner’s time in the ring is over.

Giulia Earns Spot In Women's Money in the Bank Match During 5/23 WWE SmackDown

The May 23 episode of WWE SmackDown took place at the EnMarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia. The show continued the buildup to Money in the Bank. Several qualifying matches were held throughout the night.

This week’s SmackDown also included a Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifying Match. Giulia, Charlotte Flair, and Zelina Vega competed for a spot. The winner would advance to the upcoming ladder match.

This match kicked off the show, as it cut a promo battle with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair over Tiffany Stratton’s title a bit short.

Fans in the sold out arena were very excited to see these three throw down, to say the least. This match also marked Giulia’s SmackDown debut since her main roster call-up.

This match lasted through a commercial break, with everyone getting a chance to own the spotlight. There were a few interesting spots during the match, and nobody wanted to give away any ground.

Charlotte Flair had a Figure 8 on Zelina Vega, but then Giulia nailed a dive off the top for her. Then she nailed a Northern Lights Bomb on Vega to pick up the win. Now Giulia will be in the Women’s Money in the Bank match.

On the May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, Alexa Bliss secured the first spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank match. Roxanne Perez went on to win a triple threat match this week on RAW to earn a spot in the match. Rhea Ripley also punched her ticket to Money in the Bank.
