Mercedes Moné and Jamie Hayter Brawl Ahead of Owen Hart Final on AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite’s May 21 episode took place at the Rio Rancho Events Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament finale at Double or Nothing was a main focus, with two finalists for each match appearing on the show for a bit of a confrontation.

Mercedes Moné and Jamie Hayter are set to meet in the finals of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at Double or Nothing. That win could help Mone further cover herself in gold.

This week’s AEW Dynamite featured a face-to-face segment between Moné and Hayter. This segment went down with about thirty minutes left in the broadcast. The two women had their own chair, along with Renee Paquette, in the center of the ring.

Jamie Hayter started off by discussing the fact that she’s the underdog in this match. She promised to keep fighting, despite any label. She’s not an obnoxious CEO, nor does she walk around thinking that she’s the best thing on earth like Mercedes Moné does. She also made a point to say that this means more to her than it does for Mone, because it’s about not being forgotten.

Then Mercedes Moné was asked if she’s worried that Jamie Hayter might hand her that first loss in AEW. The former Sasha Banks made it clear that she’s not just a champion, she’s a revolution. She also called herself the Beyoncé of women’s wrestling. She plans to show everyone why she’s called the CEO, because she’s about leaving a legacy.

Then Jamie Hayter brought up how Mercedes Moné lost the NJPW Strong Women’s Title. She also said that Moné will lose everything. That is when Moné jumped her, a beat Hayter down. She then threw around the chairs that were in the ring. Hayter then turned things around and laid Moné out. That is when Toni Storm came out to steal all of the attention.

We will have to see who ends up winning at AEW Double or Nothing. At this rate, you never know what can happen. The winner of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament will get a tile shot at All In 2025. AEW All In 2025 will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

MJF’s New AEW Alliance Sealed as Hurt Syndicate Contract Signing Turns Heated

MJF’s New AEW Alliance Sealed as Hurt Syndicate Contract Signing Turns Heated

AEW Dynamite’s May 21 episode went down in the Rio Rancho Events Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was quite a night, and that included a big segment for MJF.

MJF finally got the thumbs up he needed from the Hurt Syndicate, and he joined their faction. This week on AEW Dynamite, they finally got around to putting pen to paper.

The Salt of the Earth was on hand for a contract signing with the Hurt Syndicate. This segment closed out the show’s first hour. Prior to that, they had a backstage segment to hype the signing.

MVP hyped MJF’s induction into the Hurt Syndicate. He also addressed fans booing as he put MJF over as better than the fans, and they know it. Then it was time for MJF to come out to rile fans up a bit. MVP interrupted fans booing and chanting against MJF to tell them that they suck instead.

Smart Mark Sterling then laid out the contracts, and then it was time for everyone to sign the dotted line. MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley all signed the deal, even though the All Mighty had to think about it for a bit. MVP also had to tell fans to shut up as they tried to handle business. At that point, MJF put on his Hurt Syndicate hat just before Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes came out. The two will face the Hurt Syndicate at Double or Nothing for their titles.

Rhodes told MJF to shut up, and he called him out for always talking and never actually wrestling. He then warned MVP to watch out for MJF, because he’s a “snake in the grass.” Dustin Rhodes dared them to hurt him next. MVP tried to cut Dustin Rhodes off, but he wasn’t hearing it. Dustin then said that if he were a betting man, he’d bet on the Day One guys like himself and Guevara.

We will have to see what happens next for the Hurt Syndicate and MJF’s story in AEW. At this rate, anything is possible, because few people thought he would get Bobby Lashely’s thumbs up in the first place.

Will Ospreay & Hangman Page Drop Emotional Bombs During Promo Battle on 5/21 AEW Dynamite

Will Ospreay & Hangman Page Drop Emotional Bombs During Promo Battle on 5/21 AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite’s May 21 episode went down in the Rio Rancho Events Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament finale at Double or Nothing was a big talking point, and two people in the finals had a showdown tonight.

Will Ospreay and Hangman Page will throw down in the finals of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at Double or Nothing. This will be a big deal for either of them, and it could help the winner get all that much closer to the AEW World Title.

This week’s AEW Dynamite included a face-to-face between Will Ospreay and Hangman Page. The two already have some history with each other, and this week saw a lot of tension between them.

The segment kicked off AEW Dynamite this week. Fans were more than ready to see the two stars go face-to-face. Security surrounded the ring, and Will Ospreay made it very clear that htey didn’t need them, so security left. The moment security left, Ospreay asked Hangman if he still drinks.

Will Ospreay brought a couple of beers into the ring, and he offered a cheers for his Double or Nothing opponent. Hangman didn’t drink, but Ospreay did take a sip. Then Ospreay said that he wanted to petition to Tony Khan that their match get the main event spot at Double or Nothing. He wants to come after the Anarchy in the Arena match. Ospreay made it very clear how badly he wants to bring back the gold belt from Jon Moxley’s briefcase.

Ospreay spoke about how jetlagged he is all the time with his constant travel. He then went on to say how he wants to be the champion when they roll into London for Forbidden Door. He wants his kid to see him walk into Forbidden Door as World Champion, and then it was Hangman’s time to speak after a long pause.

Adam Page said that the difference between himself and Ospreay is that they both want the title, but Hangman knows that honor. Hangman said that it’s personal for himself, because he doesn’t want this opportunity, he needs it. He said he’s never won a tournament in AEW, and his one title run wasn’t great for him. He also started screaming about how he wants his wife and kids to respect him and look up to him. He said he needs this for himself, because he needs to know that “there can be some kind of light at the end of this two-year tunnel through Hell.”

Will Ospreay got in Adam Page’s face, asking him what he’s going to do about it. He then asked if he’s going to wrap a chair around his head like he did with Chrisopher Daniels. Ospreay promised to do his best at Double or Nothing, even if his best isn’t always good enough, he will still do it without whining to Tony Khan if he doesn’t get his way. Ospreay then exploded on Hangman, listing off a bunch of big names he’s defeated, before he declared that he’s the best, bruv.

In the end, Will Ospreay said that he has Hangman Page’s back. He also hopes that Page has his. Then Ospreay drank his beer like Stone Cold with a little Triple H spit at the end before Hangman guzzled his beer in the middle the ring. It was then confirmed on commentary that the two will be the main event at Double or Nothing.

The winner of the 2025 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament will go on to face the World Champion at All In. AEW’s All In 2025 will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Joe Hendry Destroys Trick Williams With Guitar Shot After Brutal Diss Track

The May 20 episode of WWE NXT brought the finishing touches before Battleground this Sunday. That also included a special segment with two top stars for different companies.

Joe Hendry is set to put the TNA World Title on the line against Trick Williams at Battleground this Sunday. That will be a historic match, as the first-ever TNA World Title defense on WWE television. They also hyped the match in a big way.

WWE NXT had two special musical segments this week. First, Trick Williams held a rap performance. However, Joe Hendry went on last as TNA World Champion for another concert with his acoustic guitar.

The show closed out this week with Joe Hendry’s concert. This was not the first time that Hendry has held a concert in NXT, so fans were very excited to see what kind of tune he had in store for them.

Hendry started out by shading Trick Williams a bit for his performance earlier in the night. Then he dedicated his acoustic song to his Battleground opponent. This was a catchy tune, like all of Joe Hendry’s music, and the lyrics were also cutting.

Joe Hendry threw shade at Trick Williams for losing the NXT Title so soon. He also said that Trick is just a champion at creating tears. He then played some old footage of Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes from back in the day when Trick looked very scared, and they inserted Joe Hendry into the video.

Fans loved every moment of this song, as Joe Hendry continued to sing that Trick Williams was Carmelo Hayes’ “b*tch.” Trick Williams came out to confront him after that and he attacked the TNA World Champion. This was quite a song to close out NXT this week. However, Hendry nailed Trick with a guitar and a Standing Ovation in return.

We will have to see who walks out of Battleground as TNA World Champion. They have a lot on the line, and anything is possible at this point.

One featured match saw Kelani Jordan face Zaria. If Jordan won, she would earn a future opportunity at Sol Ruca’s NXT Women’s North American Title.

This match went down during the second hour of the show this week. Zaria came out with a ton of confidence, promising Sol Ruca that she would protect her Women’s North American Championship. Naturally, Kelani, who was the first woman to hold that belt, wants another run with the championship.

This was a hard-hitting contest, as things moved to ringside and Zaria slung Kelani Jordan against the barricade. They cut to commercial as the two women continued going at it. Zaria eventually landed a cannonball that shocked the NXT Arena as they had to censor “holy sh*t” chants.

This match carried on and Zaria accidentally knocked Sol Ruca off the apron. Then Kelani Jordan got a roll-up pin on her to win the match. Now Kelani will face Sol Ruca at Battleground for the NXT Women’s North American Title.

We will have to see what happens in the NXT Women’s North American Title picture from this point on. Anything is possible at this point, because the NXT brand is always likely to surprise fans.

Lyra Valkyria’s Ringside Distraction Helps Roxanne Perez Secure Money in the Bank Spot

The May 19 episode of WWE RAW took place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. The show continued the lead-up to the upcoming Money in the Bank event.

On the May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown, Alexa Bliss secured the first spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank match. More qualifying matches were held on RAW to fill the remaining spots. The red brand will start their men’s qualifying matches next week.

The first women’s qualifier of the night saw Roxanne Perez vs. Natalya vs. Becky Lynch. This match was a fierce one, and it spanned through a commercial break.

Roxanne Perez was looking to make a big statement after getting called up to the RAW brand. Naturally, Becky Lynch and Natalya were willing to do anything to stop The Prodigy. She even kicked out of Lynch’s Manhandle Slam.

Roxanne Perez almost had the win with a Pop Rocks on Natalya and a German Suplex on Becky Lynch, but The Man was able to break up the pinfall. These three put each other to the test this week, but there could only be one winner to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank match.

The match included a double Sharpshooter by Natalya, but that didn’t get her the win. Lyra Valkyria showed up to fight Becky Lynch at ringside to distract her. That allowed Roxanne Perez to nail a Pop Rocks on Natalya to win the match and clinch her spot at Money in the Bank.

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is set for Saturday, June 7, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. This will also be the 16th installment in the Money in the Bank saga of premium live events. Only time will tell what WWE does to get fans talking.

GUNTHER Has Scary Warning For Logan Paul During 5/19 WWE RAW

GUNTHER Has Scary Warning For Logan Paul During 5/19 WWE RAW

The May 19 episode of WWE RAW took place at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. You never know what can happen, especially with Logan Paul around.

The Maverick has been gunning for Jey Uso’s World Heavyweight Title since Uce won it at WrestleMania 41 by defeating GUNTHER. This week on RAW, the YouTuber turned boxer turned WWE Superstar had a chance to rile up fans.

Logan Paul was there to open the show this week. He started out his promo by spitting some facts about his upcoming World Title match, and that included the fact that he will win the championship from Jey Uso.

Logan Paul also brought up how he knocked Jey Uso out three times already, and he will do it again on Saturday. That is when GUNTHER came out to give his two cents. The Ring General has already staked his claim to face whomever walks out of Saturday Night’s Main Event as champion.

GUNTHER mentioned how Logan Paul is so certain that he can beat the man who won the title at WrestleMania 41, so that means Paul believes he can beat the Ring General as well. GUNTHER also had to deal with a ton of “you tapped out” chants.

GUNTHER then said that there are things that Logan Paul could teach him in social media and business. He said that Paul as WWE World Heavyweight Champion would be great for business. Logan appreciated that a lot. Then GUNTHER said that beating Jey Uso is very personal, so to take that away from GUNTHER would be seen as a sign of disrespect. The Ring General then asked Logan Paul to ask Pat McAfee how he deals with disrespectful non-wrestlers.

That is when GUNTHER told Logan Paul that all his other accolades won’t mean anything in Phoenix on June 9, because he will eat him alive. That was quite a scary statement coming from GUNTHER. The Ring General left after that, and Logan told him to come back, but he turned around to eat a Superkick from Jey Uso.

Saturday Night’s Main Event will go down on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. It should be a very big show as NBC airs another one of WWE’s long-running specials on primetime television. Only time will tell where the story goes after that with GUNTHER in the picture.

What’s your take on Logan Paul going for Jey Uso’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship? Do you believe that Paul will win the title? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
